Yes! I was able to log in. Haha, manual update put me at about 11,000th on the list. I guess it's a little behind. :)

Everything seems to be back to normal ... For now.

Halloween pic a bit late, but at least 12am GMT was still October in some countries...

You mean contact all the 10000 cartoonists, about something they learned on their own anyways, and if they don't that's because they don't need their site to update today, so they didn't need to know it wouldn't update anyways?

Sure, I guess they could do that. But I'd rather have them working on fixing it, rather than sending e-mails. How about you?
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

Well I guess everything's okay for some. Yeah I was able to log in to. Only problem is... the only thing I can edit/view is my username.
My comic title, banner edit and Update options are suspiciously missing... :-?

FTP = file transfer protocol. It's a method of transferring files over a network from one computer to another. It predates network file systems (like unix NIS and windows Network Neighborhood) by a number of years. It's also the method used by Keenspace to get your comics from your computer to your website on the keenspace server.

I suggest reading this: viewtopic.php?t=54103 and then letting us know which parts don't make sense or what you're having trouble with.

Solved..Or is it?

I too am suffering from a problem like this. I can log into my FTP just fine, but whenever I try to use the member login at the keenspace to manual update, I am put into an infinite loop where it asks me again for my username and password. What the heck is going on? Wasn't this problem fixed?

At the risk of belaboring the obvious, have you tried refreshing and/or using a different browser? <strike>I'm not experiencing the login problem anymore so I don't know what to say...</strike> Apparently, some people are also having this problem. Hmm.

I am such a Moron...

Post by BlackCobra »

All this time I was using Mozilla to try it, and when I just took Kyouryuu's advice about using a different browser, I went back to the evil known as IE, and It worked. I feel like a moron

Oh well, at least I can login now. Thanks! :D

I'm not sure what it is with Mozilla, but sometimes it can get fixated on a certain cached version of a page and not realize there's a new version - even when you press Refresh. That's why if something doesn't work, I'll try to double-check it in IE (I use Mozilla exclusively otherwise).

The manual update server hiccuped for me shortly after noon today and I couldn't login (Internal Server Error). It resolved itself after about an hour though. Maybe it got innundated with the Sunday noon update time? That's a pretty vicious one. ;)
