The Resurrected Official Kisai Appreciation Thread
Yeah, that's what I thought at first moment, untill I realized it goes the other way
Kisai used Teneko as her avatar for a short while, then someone made the one she's using now, based on it.

You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."
"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

Seems like they are both common names in Russia... So if you're stuck in a page with pictures of two fat guys drinking beer, it's not my comic!RPin wrote:![]()
Okay... I didn't know any of this, and I never heard of Okashina Okashi. I just changed her outfit to give a magical appeal...
Seems lately like everything I do was already done someplace else.

Yay more artwork ^_^
To be fair, the original catgirl avatar I used was Teneko, and it all went from there. I had picked Teneko as she was the closest at the time to what I had in mind. (Dark hair, light ears, pale complexion, the way the hair was styled...)
Though going forward, the first official "Kisai" piece was done by silvergrin who drew "Kisai with the FAQ mallet" and all later pieces of artwork were based on that one. Till I switched to the current one which is by space coyote.
Though evolving the avatar design, I'd probably go with longer hair

Ah.
Well Keenspace doesn't seem all that saved yet. Half the sites are still down.
And I won't be making my "thank you art" until I have a good idea what Kisai looks like.

Indeed.
But you might be forgetting something important: I'm a nobody.
