I really like your comic, but the Space Marines thing has already been done. But by a minitures company, who funily also make comics based around the space marines.

Faceless,
There are more aspects to a good comic than whether or not it is unique within it's genre. No comic is the sole example of it's genre.
It's like saying, "That apple is bad because the store has lots of apples."
What do you have against apples, Faceless? What did their succulent, sweet goodness ever do to you? What, are you a pear-guy? Disdain of the golden or ruby red fruit of the gods?
For SHAME.

Wow, someone devoted a topic to my strip! I feel special! And yes, the space marine thing has been done, but I figured it was better then, "Hey, I'm bored, let's start a web comic." Plus, this particular strip touches on all the funny things about spacemarines in all platforms. Not just a particular style. You'll probably see references from Aliens (About chestbursters and facehuggers), Starcraft, various FPS games, and things of that nature. But it's also supposed to have a Police Academy feel to it. This particular squadron of Marines always get the worst missions and are generally the ones that get the short end of the stick. Actually, the idea was inspired by a pic I saw at SuperMegaTopia.

...Yep. That about sums it up. But I'm glad you like the comic so far. ^_^
