Ah no, can't decide...

I hate making decisions. Especially when it comes to things like this, so I want an opinion from you lot to see which would be the best option.

I'm stuck on which comic I should do when I'm finally able to sign up. Theres a breif synopsis of each one in my siggy, but I'll describe them a bit better here;

Soul Train: An action/adventure involving 3 students who are taken into other dimenions and time periods when they discover and board a strange train that happens to be the carrier of the paranormal, and it's creator only made it to cause trouble and havoc between dimensions.
A sort of realistic/fantasy drawn comic. Kind of serious with a bit of a funny side to it, but not much.

Whoops, My Bad: This is a bit more of a lighter comic. There's no real storyline, it's a series of cartoony comics about the life of a young mage in a court in Ancient China. 3 Kingdoms China to be exact ^^ Very funny, can be crude in some places, but generally fun.

Personally, my mind is resting on "Whoops, My BAd" because there isn't a strict storyline to go by, whereas Soul Train is a bit of a commitment. Please vote, and say which you voted for and why :)

Thanks!

I vote for "Whoops, My Bad", for a bunch of reasons. First! I like funnier comics a lot more, so that's naturally going to be my vote. Second! It's very very difficult to do fantastic action/adventures well. You have to have really good writing to keep it from being cheesy or too random, and even better drawing skills to make it look right.

Mostly, though, I'm voting for "Whoops, My Bad" because it's the one you want to do, and therefore the one you should do.

Yeah you're right, I'm sort of going off the Soul Train comic anyway. Still, doesn't mean my name has to change :P Also, I think Whoops My Bad will be easier to do on a tablet, 'cause there isn't too much detail to do with cartoons, whereas realism craves detail, something I'm scared of o.O I think my skills are ok for an action/adventure, but rather brilliant for a cartoon strip. Also, I've been told that I'm "naturally funny", so that'd be good for the humor of the comic :lol:

I vote for Soul Train.
Because the premise for it sounds like something I'd like to read (I just looove o parallel universes, and I preffer storyline to gags),
while "There's no real storyline" sounds just like, you know, the usual stuff. "Very funny", of course, your humour may be brilliant... but we won't know it untill you actually make it.

Of course it's your decision.
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves,levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

Regardless of which one comes first, I shall do the other some time later. I just need a starter, see :D I guess WMB is a way of getting me back into the flow of Keen, and Soul Train is a bit of a skills test. Anyway, thanks for the feedback, I like hearing your opinions :)
