Thank you Kisai. Truely.
Alas, as I said before I can not make any art right now as scanners are scarce on the road home. But thanks again.

The Fan: Action, Drama, Suspence...All at a comfortable room temperature. Yeah, it's still there. I'm as shocked as you are.

It wasn't "fixing a problem" so much as "answering a question (or 6)"...
Besides, I get another week's comic out of it.
Kisai, THANK YOU!

Just don't put it into /public_html/images...
/publi_html/the_other_images should work AFAIK

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

Halloween? I dunno. This: http://thejaded.keenspace.com/gallery/g ... yKisai.jpgPhalanx wrote:Erm... well... she has nowmcDuffies wrote:When did you guys start drawing her tail? Kisai has no tail!
Uh... The Halloween one?sippan wrote:Actually, I wasn't sure if she had one so I looked at Phalanx's picture to make sure. You just can't trust anyone these days
This makes me curious about the evolution of Kisai's image. Did she always have a hammer, or did someone just draw it one day? Did it always have "Read The FAQ" stamped backwards on it, or is that recent?
I'm wondering if 5 years from now she's gonna have the mallet, the tail, whiskers, a revolver, and a cybernetic arm that jacks into the server.

It used to be kisai.keenspace.com but that's gone now.
When I first got here, her avatar was the cat girl from Strange Candy:
http://strangecandy.keenspace.com/d/20031130.html
Check out the bottom left panel.
I don't remember who gave her the hammer. The old version of this thread died a with about half the forum and many of us reposted. Ghastly had one that never got reposted that I remember.
I think the hammer came from Skuld of Oh My Goddess, the scene where Skuld is debugging the mainframe but I can't really say for sure.
According to Kisai (and my memory of the post), she pictured herself as a dark haired cat girl with pale ears and I think a tail. She wanted her hair longer than what Space Coyote drew it.
Also, she refuses to show anyone her picture. There are like 4 people who actually know what she really looks like.
