Help on a new web-comic review project.

For discussions, announcements, non-technical questions and anything else comics-related or otherwise that doesn't fit in any of the other categories.

I haven't read anything, so I'll point out:

1. Kris X just did this. She doesn't update much though.

2. Review me. First!

1)I'd like comics that have no less then ten comics in the archive. That's right, I'll form an opinion on very little. I'm judgemental that way.

I just did my twelfth today!

2)If it's ever had a review before, I don't want it. Pretty self explanitory.

Not by anyone whose opinion matters

3) Let's try and shoot for comics with less than 400 uniques a month.
You know who you are. If you have no idea how many uniques a site gets, but you want to submit the site... post a link. I'll email them, and ask.

With October being the one extreme exception I usually get sub 200 visits per month.

4) I'd also like it if the comics submitted are still updating.

Just updated today!

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

I think I fell out of several of those categories.

I was reviewed by one review site that is actually dead for a long time. They got to review me before that. T's what I remember.

Hmm, yeah... Fall out of that one too. But 400 uniques a month is really small.

When you say Uniques, do you mean sites, urls, referrers or user agents?

I wouldn't mind a review. I would queue for a review. The link and the grisly-ass banner are in the signature

Also, if you need additional reviewers to handle the mass of comics clamoring for review, I offer my services, my pompously withering (yet constructive!) voice. Oh won't someone take a chance on a boy and his dream?

I'm up for it. Seeing as my total monthly visits max out at just over 500, I'm pretty small. There's around 30 comics in the archive.
The current storyline is actually going pretty well, so now's as good a time as any.

Also, my links page has lots of good ones to look at. Too many to list here, and anyway, I have no idea how popular most of them are.

Wow... thanks for the response...

A lot of good suggestions so far.

Well, as soon as I get this site up I'll be sure to post a link to it. Keep in mind, it's not gonna happen over night... but I should be able to get a few reviews up there before the end of the month... time permitting.

And for those who offered help witht he writing, send me a private message with the best way to contact you, and we'll discuss...
