Heheheh. I remember that. Fun thing is, it did present your comic really well. It's just that hundreds of other comics that have nothing with chatrooms, internet or with being annoying and hostile, also present them the same way.
No, you're not. I mean, bean and unfan left for a reason. If the forums were the same as always WHY WOULD THEY GO?? WHY I ASK YOU, WHY??
Just a correction: Bean and UnFan left a long time after forums became hostile, in fact they made their own part in forums becaming hostile. I think they left because they didn't exactly fit with the newbies.
(I still feel emptiness because of Bean's leave, thouth)

My first experience here on the boards was Kevin Wolf spitting on me and kicking my dog, and LagtheNoggin donating my pants to the salvation army or something. It's still kind of hazy.

After the initial "cutting down to size" after posting in techniques and tips with only 6 comics (which was warranted)... I don't really recall any meanness or anything like that. And even that critique wasn't too bad, and has helped me out alot.

I just kind of slipped in during the wave of newbies that came with all the new Keenspace accounts. No one bothered to put me in the box - in fact, people were very nice to me. I feel a little deprived. :(

It seems to me that the only people who get hazed really badly are the ones who start with a shameless plug, or the ones who post 30+ messages on their first day.

I remembered you pretty quickly. Actually, you had that avatar where position of the head was strangely dislocated against the position of the neck and it looked kinda like if her neck was being broken... Every time I looked at it, I wanted to point that to you, but I was afraid I'd hurt your feelings.
