Here's a little randomness I whipped up to get into the holiday spirit.

I have no christmas-y comic for my... comic. But, on a Christ related note, I scribbled a drawing of Jebus a while ago, whilst trolling aboot on alt.atheism and the like.

Sadly, Christmas does not fall on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday this year. Therefore, I am not doing a Christmas comic. I wanted to do one last year, but my comic didn't go online until January.

I decided to make 2 X-mas comics. Still, it's shorter than my Halloween special was. Cuz Halloween is COOLER than X-mas.

Same here... (except I don't do birthday specials).Jops wrote:hum... the only "special" i'll ever do will be for the comic b-day.
No x-mas, easter or <insert holyday here> comic for me.
Maybe that's the way storyline driven comics are.
Despite 250+ pages the action of my comic spans over 3 days so far. Makes it quite difficult to pop cristmass in there, doesn't it?
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."
"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

TOTAL WANK!
We need more Jewish holiday comics.
And don't say Chanukah. According to a Jewish comrade of mine, Chanukah is one of the least important Jewish holidays. Passover or . . . something else (I forget, sorry) should have special comics for them.
And then we can start doing some more obscure religious holiday comics. Like some Mayan Sun Worship day, or something like that.

The only special day I did a comic for was International Mole Day.
But I made some Christmas-ish wallpapers. (Scroll down a little.)

Lessee . . . I'm updating every day this week for Christmas . . . got the three regular comics, the two results of the Secret Santa thingy, a silly Out Of Character thingy, and a Christmasy something for tomorrow. Get this . . . I'm dressing up the RotD cast as characters from A Christmas Carol! Aren't I just an original little dickens? HAW!
Anyway, I don't really celebrate any holidays past Halloween and Christmas (the former more than the latter), but I figure I'd do the nice thing and make holiday stuffs for my readers on occaision. It's fun for me, so I figure what the heck, neh?
The only holiday thing I've done so far, however, was The Lamest Thanksgiving Ever . . . tho' I think I can be excused for the lameness seeing as Thanksgiving just sort of snuck up on me from a dark alley in the middle of the night and smashed my scanner with a baseball bat.
Tommorow's special should be a lot more . . . special, I think.
