But what is the purpose of the main page? To show that there are categories of comics or to try to pry a new reader into the fold? My site seems to be unavailable. I can ping it without the "http://", but I get nothing from Mozilla or IE.

Unfortunately, the FAQ and About links are broken.

I've read then before, but never found anything substantive that tells what a banner or a newsbox is, or what they are used for. The FAQ assumes you know what they are and goes on to steps concerning employing them.
