Comic and nav buttons stopped working

Post by VinnieD »

my comic http://antibunny.com seems to ahve someproblems

The images for the navigation buttons and the main comic have stopped working suddenly. They were working fine earlier this week but yesterday they appeared as broken image links.

Maybe you deleted them by accident?

BTW, I tried to look at your site, but I get "not found" errors. If you have an FTP program, I suggest checking to make sure the files are actually there.

Well I haven't accessed the site through FTP since my last upload which was nearly two weeks ago.

I just checked through FTP and everything is there.

The only things not working are the buttons which use keenspace tags. The other images on the site such as the banner and various page graphics are working just fine. It seems to be a problem with the tags that just suddenly occured.

I'm running on the assumption that this is some kind of server bug. I don't supose anyone else is having the same problem?

Edit: actually now I'm getting a server not found bug as well. I supose that confirms it.

Edit2: Okay the server not found problem went away. back to my original problem.

Also I've checked my archive Which I made by hand rather than using keenspace tags and it functions just fine. Clicking the previous and next links however leads to a server not found error.

So basicly.

Keenspace tags=not working

plain old html=works fine

Yup, I can't get to you through http://www.antibunny.com nor antibunny.comicgenesis.com. The first is a URL not found error, the second is a standard file not on this server type message.

Do you have an index.html in your /public_html folder?

The problem there is a gap in domain renewal. you can get there through the old URL http://vinnied.comicgen.com

The domain needs to re propagate.

But you should see my problem with the keenspace tags now.

The only problems I'm having are with the keenspace tags. The files themselves are there, and you can get to the comics through the archive since I manually linked them instead of using keenspace tags.

Check the image names for those, they're at antibunny.com and not vinnied.comicgen.com . I think you might need to wait for your domain to repropogate before it's fixed.

you have a point. I FTPed in through the antibunny.com domain rather than keenspace. I didn't think it would make a difference but aparently with keenspace tags it does.

I supose it's my own fault for letting it lapse after all. I'm lucky a domain squatter didn't nab it up and ransom it.
