well, i actually ended up seeing rent by myself. it was good. not the best, but good. i liked that most of the cast was from the original broadway production. & i cried at the end...
We went and saw it day before last. I lurved it! I cried at the funeral. But I knew I would 'cause Angel's my favorite character. Damn he and Collins are so adorable together! X3
I loved Rent. I don't care if it had a lot of mistakes in it, I still cried like a sissy child. Angel and Collins were so cute! And I love Joanne. And Anthony Rapp is the most adorable little man ever!
angel's my fave too! ^_^ i also cried during the funeral (well as much as i do cry, anyway). it was very hard for me not to sing along...i think i might have a little...oh well. i was a little diappointed that they spoke alot of the lines that were originally sang "december 24th, 9pm, eastern standard time..." but, i got over it quikly.
I lip synced through the whole movie, but I belted it out during the end credits 'cause I figured no one would care then. Not that the majority of the people in the theater hadn't already seen the play or whatever.
Cathe keeps insinuating that I am like Maureen. I'm not. Cathe sucks. XP
I did not insinuate that you were Maureen! I just sang the "I hate mess but I love you" line! 'Cuz, y'know, you are pretty messy. Not quite as crazy though. Moo with me! MOOOOOOOOOO! Come on everyone, moo! ^_~
I think it is a little late but happy b-day and was rent good? like would u guys recomend it.... my friend said it was stupid but i don't no waht to beleave (yes i probably spelt that wrong) oh and MOOO!!!!
I cried like 3 times .... I liked it a lot. And I was instructed not to sing in the theatre, but I also lip synched the whole thing. And okay, I did sing a couple times, but really really quiet.
Oh well, belated wishes to you, Redtail. Hope your day was a great one.
Regarding RENT, since I've never seen the play, I don't have any real wish to see the movie...I'll probably "rent" it when it comes out and see it then.
