Avatar Titles Change

Post by Kerry Skydancer »

What's up with that? I kinda liked the military version. Did Keenspace fiddle with things, or is this something you did, RH?

I have to say, I don't like the new ones. They don't make -sense-. If they're talking about publication frequency, wouldn't a frequent one be more respectable than a rare one?

Ah. If you're not officially moderator in charge of the subforums devoted to your comics, it's probably a system-wide shift. Some nitwit probably whined about the eeeeevil military stuff.

Betcha it was Beltane. :D

Yes, sir. I agree completely. It takes a well-balanced individual... such as yourself to rule the world. No, sir. No one knows that you were the third one... Solidus. ...What should I do about the woman? Yes sir. I'll keep her under surveillance. Yes. Thank you. Good-bye...... Mr. President.

Having never made it past the rank of Specialist in the Army or the National Guard (that's Spec-4 to you fogies out there - same as a corporal, but without the junior NCO status), I was really enjoying being a Lieutenant...

Now, I'm 'monthly' - sounds like the female menstral cycle... :P

Well, sure... But at least you're fairly modern. I mean... Who says "thrice" these days?

Not that the rankings ever really meant anything.

Ah-hah! Definitely visit this thread, and vote! They've got a lot of WTF comments from people, and they've decided to choose between Bob #1 (scif-fi military ranks) and Bob #3 (which seems to be an in-joke of some sort). The detailed proposed lists are on the second page of the thread. Bob #3 is winning at the moment! :( Go vote for the other one!

Bob #1 for me, too - although I won't cry too hard if #3 gets selected. It's just crazy enough to work...

Creative is relative in this case.
