Well, no, not yet although Erik Larsen thought White Hydra had a lot of potential when I showed him the webcomic version.
In the next few monthes, since I have a lot of free time (IE being kicked out college for whooping my roommate's ass when he attacked me), I'm going to be working on a full 22-page White Hydra comic to bring to Image Comics and hopefully obtain a six month contract with them.
The art will be refined a little with actual drawn backgrounds and more detail into the characters, but other than that what would you all like to see in this new White Hydra?
It will remain true to the plot thus far obtained (Minus a few things for the sake of legality issues) but will expand on it as the webcomic strips were considerably shortened in order to tell the story over a period of time whereas a comic could be read wholly in 15 minutes.
but other than that what would you all like to see in this new White Hydra?
Something not drawn to be a crowd pleaser? Comics that try to become successful by mass appeal usually end up sucking. You don't need other people to tell you what they want in your comic. If they find it there they'll read it. Just be yourself and do what you like.

It's possible that his tastes are aligned with what is considered "crowd-pleasing". Nevertheless, I agree. That's always been a turn off for me in regards to WH.*
Of course, "crowd-pleasing" also means "capable of making money" but I don't know what Image'll think of that. It could work for or against Van.
