Well done!

Why not give the post 220px left padding, width: auto; , and position: relative; - then absolute position the profile to the left side? It might take an extra container div or two, but it should work at 800x600 - maybe lower. It's what i tend to do when i want a fixed width next to an elastic width... thing.Kisai wrote:Since both are floating, you have to specifiy a width, otherwise they will float on top of each other. So when your window is set to less than the width defined, the rendering model moves whichever appears later in the code beneath. In this case, it's set to 25/75 , 25% for the profile, 75% for the content. The scroll bar then appears when you reduce it beyond the ad.
In the fixed tables, subsilver, since the profile code actually comes before post content, even if you turn off the css, it's still in the order expected. So you can actually reduce the browser width down to 800 pixels without the horizontal scroll bar appearing.

Don't be absurd. I'm male.Mercury Hat wrote:Maybe I can get Joel to make us a little CG logo in the red/pink/black theme :> .
Well the header has to be larger than the ad, but maybe streamlining it by making it somewhat smaller can be considered. I do not want the font or colours changed for the base theme.c.w. wrote:Why not give the post 220px left padding, width: auto; , and position: relative; - then absolute position the profile to the left side? I'd really like it if the top comicgenesis header was smaller - it's always seemed to be unneccicarily huge to me.
So what of this?Tim wrote:Also, bring back the dropdown at the bottom of the screen that jumps to other forums. I miss that (unless that's a result of making myself invisible).

Yep, sometimes the topic reply notification emails link me to forums.comicgenesis.com, and sometimes forums.keenspace.com, and if they link to forums.keenspace.com, it logs me out.phact0rri wrote:definitely is running a lot better now *nods*

I'm a lazy bum and that dropdown made things so much easier.
Generally I always have at least three tabs open - often more. Adding several CG tabs to the mix won't help me.KWill wrote:You don't use tabbing? Lazy, lazy people.
I usually keep three tabs for the CG forums, one of OT, one of GD, and the Board Index. That's usually it. If I find myself browsing my other forum, I usually open a new browser window exclusively for that and open everything else in the other one.Pimpette wrote:Generally I always have at least three tabs open - often more. Unless the dropdown menu was really slowing things down, I don't see why it had to die.
Firefox, and recently Internet Explorer as well, allow you to open more than one window (called tab) in your browser window, thus avoiding cluttering up your task bar.yeahduff wrote:"Tabbing?"
