Let's do another tablet thread!!!

For discussions, announcements, non-technical questions and anything else comics-related or otherwise that doesn't fit in any of the other categories.

I'm glad 90's style forum signatures don't exist anymore.

The 9x12 model eh? Seemed a tad overkill to me. (polishes his 6x8 version )
*polishes ancient and revered 12x12 option*

Bwah Hah Hah.

Ancient huh? That one certainly doesn't look ancient. Mine is ancient. I have had it for over six years now and well, it looks ancient now. It's brandless (well, at least not a Wacom or any other famous brand), it's rather small and it's purplish grey. But hey, it still works. *pets tablet*

Oooh, same one as I got :)

And I don't think the 9x12 is overkill. It gives me plenty of room to be fluid. I suck a lot more when I have a small space to work in, so I got one that I knew would be big enough.

I loves it.... :3

I normally just use the brush tool.
Recently though, I've started to use the pen tool. Depending on the look I'm going for I'll pick the tool.

For coloring though I normally use the brush tool though.

So I just found out that one of the computer rooms at my college has Wacom drawing tablets! Whee! I tried it with the brush tool in Illustrator and the results were drool-worthy. It does take some getting used to, though. So now I can practice with it before buying one of my own.
