I'm having problems registering. When I fill my form and click the verify button, the page just clears as if I hit the reset button.
I'd assume I did something wrong, but I've followed all directions properly.

Even more, when the form resets, there is no warning telling me that I completed a field incorrectly.
Please help..?

EDIT: Can it be that I'm using Mozilla Firefox? Firefox poses strange problems with forms and stuff.

Hmm... this is a new one, but I wonder if it's related to the login browser cookie problem, although I have no idea why it should act like the signup form.

Did you try closing all windows, opening only one for the form and trying again? (It's got to be a pain filling in those forms again though. I feel for you.)

I had no problems in Firefox but it could be that your security settings are interfering somewhere. This happens to me occassionally and unless it's a task I need to do more than once, I just do it in IE instead.

Tried it. Same problem.

I can't believe this is not working for me.

EDIT: I got my friend to register on his computer for me. :P
Thanks anyway.

I'm confused. What problem are you having, exactly? Perhaps we can diagnose it. Or, in the worst case scenario, I can sign up for you. I've done it before for people and I'm willing to do it again, if need be.

I still hadn't recieved an email yet though... About how long does that take?

It was said in an earlier post it takes about 24 hours, but I've been waiting for days.

It can take up to a week.

I'm having the same problem Geto was having...whenever I fill out the form and click "Verify", it just clears the form and insists I never signed up. When I refill all the boxes again, it does the same thing.

I tried switching to IE to sign up, but that didn't help any. I'm majorly confused right now...

Oh dear.
I'm now sure why this happens to some people, but it seems to only affect a few people. Since it doesn't affect me, I can register for you, if you want. If you'd like me to, email me all the needed info and the sample pic at elyscape AT gmail.com.

Hi,
I am in the process of setting up my site: funkyninjacomics.keenspace.com

I registered Sunday, March 6th and recieved the Account Creation Verification email on march 7th.

I entered the code on the form on March 8th.

Folowing that I went to the siteadmintest. From the Check Signup box screen I recieved the following:

Signup found, status:
Signup completed, check username status

I then entered the Username into Check Comic Status and got:

Username not found.

I believe the next step is the password email, but I am not sure what action I should take to make that happen.

Thanks,
Frank

Ok, I got the password after a lot more than nine days. It didn't work. I got a new one. It still doesn't work and I get this waste of a good keyboard message 'If you are seeing this exact same page over and over, your browser is not sending the form correctly, please upgrade to a standards compliant browser or turn off software firewall/privacy software'

What the hell is going on? How do I make a comic?

What browser are you using?

Aaahh! Panic!

No, seriously: Yesterday the check status said my comic was up and running and my password (the new one) works fine, I could get access to the site through my FTP client but my browser(s) couldn't see it or anything in it.

Today the FTP client can't log in, nor can I log into the SiteAdmin control panel, and I went to check the status and it said "Signup found, status: Signup completed, check username status" but the username status says "Username not found." Additionally check status no longer sees my password, which isn't surprising.

I only signed up two weeks ago and got my password yesterday, if that information is significant.

Yeah, same thing is happening to me. But I'm sure this is the same thing as in the topic I made? Just making sure. :) It'll probably take what the email said to work: 2 to 5 days. Until then, I just wanted to know if it's safe to work on my comic and upload files to the ftp client until it's up and running? I didn't want to mess it up. :D

Huh. The disappearing thing turned out to be the big thing that's been killing a bunch of the sites, but now it's fixed and it still doesn't show up. It's just really weird, I think, that I can see it just fine in FTP but it won't show up in a browser window. I'm just scratching my head 'cause it doesn't really make logical sense.

I'll wait 2-5 days and come back.

Gah. Curse you services provided to me absolutely free of cost, curse your black soul.

Lol, I can't even get into my ftp. I'll do the same as you - wait from 2 to 5 days. If it's not up by then, then maybe it's not just because I'm new. It probably is, though.
