Indeed, unlike the rest of the site. Thanks for your warning; we Spacers ought to hold ourselves to the high standard of making brilliantly witty jokes about boobs and faggots, which include being required a minimum quota of vulgarity. I dare say we should make no such spams again, and we be sure that in the future all attempts to deface sites like Encyclopedia Lowgradica are filled with similar brilliant content as found on the wiki.Fire trucks wrote:problem is that it's unfunny.
Now let's talk about spam. Wonderful, wonderful, spam! Encyclopedia Crappica over there yonder is a wiki. Apparently one whose sole purpose is to fail miserably at being even remotely amusing, in much the same way as my comic. The article in question did in fact seem to qualify and fit in quite well amidst the other horribly stupid half-assed jokes to be found.
On the other hand, these wonderfully high brow fora are not designed in any similar way, for random passerbys like yourself to subtract from our meager collective intellect - unlike your beloved Encyclopedia Bullshittica. This chirade called a wiki is but a catalogue of inane gibberish, wasting bandwidth while attempting to mock memes that no one cared about in the first place. Oh, how I do proclaim my laughter! Not.
Let us all forget for a moment that the very suggestion that Space must "spam" other sites, is mind bogglingly laughable and absurd. For even if indeed what has been writ in our name is spam, then I should daresay that the entire wiki of Encyclopedia Unfunnica is itself the most egregious archive of useless and distracting spam I have ever had the displeasure of witnessing!
But I go further still, friends and foes alike, to declare that due in fact to Space's prominent place in the web, in contrast to the Encylcopedia's lameness and unknown-ness, that you have spammed us, for the intention of whoring the wretched wiki of imbecility. Now, leave us in peace you anonymously cantankorous buffoon! I refuse to hear anymore of Encyclopedia Makeajokeaboutthenameica!

Oh yes, and please my good toe-smelling sir; get in the box.

Just out of precaution, I checked the wikipedia entry and that one is safe.
Just one trouble with it I have:
"KeenSpace is a free hosting provider for web comics. KeenSpace is a service of KeenSpot, who cover hosting costs. As a whole, Keenspace and its subdomains rank as a top 10,000 website."
I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't space more than cover for its own hosting costs?

Absolutely it does! That's why we must fight for our independence.RPin wrote:I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't space more than cover for its own hosting costs?

Absolutely. Every starting business at some point is like that. Even Keenspot had serious issues mantaining itself back in the day.Phalanx wrote:Not sure, but I think it does now. At one point i'm pretty sure I heard someone say (Kisai?) it didn't. And Keenspot did foot the cost of the starting capital and domain names.RPin wrote:I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't space more than cover for its own hosting costs?
I'm just questioning the relevance of the information now.
