I think there are valuable things which have been said in this thread, but people arguing about what each other said in this very thread is pointless. The best you can do is try to explain yourself in more detail on the assumption that your original point was misunderstood. An argument which amounts to "I didn't say that." "Yes you did." "Did not." "Did too." isn't going anywhere.
