Any chance you could delete a couple of those duplicate posts? There are five or six, and they're making the thread all wonky.
Thanks!

I just love that I'm slowly hijacking the Suburban Jungle's readership.

Be careful. So long as you're just getting us to play here, too, it's all a good thing. But if you actually steal readership, Leonard may come bite your tail off. And that would be sad, 'cause Fox tails are sooooo... *murrrrr!*allan_ecker wrote:I just love that I'm slowly hijacking the Suburban Jungle's readership.
But this is officially the only other forum I post in regularly besides SJ. *Grins* Besides, with an icon as kyoot as that, how can we not come see your comic?
Yay! I'm not the oldest fur on the forum!Kesh wrote:Real Name: Kevin Allen Harrison

You're not the oldest by a long shot, TK. As for the number of posts, I cannot delete them. As soon as someone makes a post right after you put one up, the board will not let you delete it. I've been begging Allan to use his spiffy Admin powerz to delete those but so far he's been ignoring me. I wonder if he's open to bribery?

Yep. Absolutely perfect, and you could not believably do this movie with live actors. It's one of the best examples of how animation can really be done well with mature themes.Foxworth wrote:That movie was one heck of a head trip... It's not often that a movie (let alone anime) can successfully creep me out...
For those not familiar with it, I think one reviewer phrased it perfectly: imagine Alfred Hitchcock had made an animated film.
That's Perfect Blue.

*Grins* Heh. Everyone seems so young. And I keep seeing 18, 19, or 20 in people's posts.Andrick wrote:You're not the oldest by a long shot, TK. As for the number of posts, I cannot delete them. Hmm... I understand why, but I don't like that can't delete function. With the keenboards malfunctioning the way they do, it's thoroughly pesky.
Bribe Allan? That should be easy enough. Hehehe. *Evil, but sexy grin.*

I use the "View newest post" icon that appears on threads that have updated since I last logged in...when I'm logged in. Since I'm pretty much the only one who'd be on these boards on my computer, I leave a cookie to keep me logged in. Other things I do NOT save my password for, as they are a bit more critical. If someone posts something in my name, well, I AM responsible for it, but I'd change my password and issue apologies as necessary. I also most certainly would not let the hypothetical individual in question use my computer again.
Much as I'd like to, I can't seem to edit those particular posts.
Ah, responsibility and culpability - the two traits which are most noble in a free society and most notably lacking. It's nice to hear others espouse such viewsas matter-of-fact instead of punch line

Gee, I've been around for a while and haven't introduced myself. Well, here goes.
Name: Kenji Clarence Crosland
Aliases: Over 50. The most recent nickname is Speedy. The reasons for this are completely innocent.
Age: 20
Weight: 165
Height: 6 feet on the dot
S.O.: Straight
Strangest thing I've heard today: I'm pissing telepathically into your soul.
Favorite Movies (I'm a movie nut so there are a lot)
Favorite Drama: The Life of Emile Zola (Best Picture, 1937). WOOT! Everyone must see this movie!
Favorite Comedy: The Apartment (Another Best Picture, 1960). This is the dirtiest PG movie I have ever seen. Subtle sexual innuendo at its best!
Favorite Musical: Everyone says I love you
Favorite Horror: Jacob's Ladder. One of the scariest films I've have ever seen, yet it has what could be interpreted as a happy ending.
Favorite Anime: Either Spirited Away (The best picture I have seen in 2002) or Samurai X (What you'd get if Kurosawa did Anime).
Favorite Epic: Barry Lyndon. Stanley Kubrick's Finest Film.
Favorite Books: East of Eden (Steinbeck). Musashi (Eiji Yoshikawa).
A real good book that just came out last year that I think everyone here would be interested in is "The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay" This is a Pulitzer Prize winning novel about the golden age of comic books. A side note about this book: The whole thing about the heroes having young boy sidekicks is explained. . .if you ever wondered.
I know Allan through a creative writing class we took together. Since then we have critiqued each others' work and in the process I believe that our writing skill has improved indeed. We were going to do some collaboration work on a screenplay--but responsiblities are getting in the way. I've never been too much involved with comics, but I've stayed around almost since the beginning to see what's going on.

Quote I like to live by: Life is too important to be taken seriously.
Favorite word: Groak--One who stands around a table whilst people eat, eagerly waiting to join them.
And stuff.
