Technically, yes. But yours is more conceptually entertaining.Tellurider wrote:I bet there's already a Catman, but I suck at coming up with superheroes.

I never liked her, anyway
I started out doing just a random sketch, and it turned into this.

Yeah, it's a photobucket thing. I've seen it before on desktop screenies.NakedElf wrote:Maybe it's just a photobucket effect or something, but your jpeg compression looks shitty.Tellurider wrote:I've been watching much Batman and Justice League and felt... the urge.
I bet there's already a Catman, but I suck at coming up with superheroes.
Actually... That was the main concept in a school play I participated in. During my fourth grade. It was awesome.Joel Fagin wrote:You know...
It just struck me that having a superhero who thinks he has a secret identity and everyone knows but is being polite about it is a humour angle as yet unexplored in the many superhero spoof comics.
It might work really well.

Pretty... BUT... it has this "I'm a fantasy comic now" feeling to it (that's not a reference to the comic itself).Turnsky wrote:the mockup-in-progress for my new site's design.

It was also used somewhat in an SNL skit with The Rock as Superman with his super suit obviously sticking out of the edges of his Clark Kent suit and everyone giggling about it when he turns his back.Doombug wrote:Actually... It's also being touched upon seriously in the current Spider-Man comics, with a few of the supporting cast admitting that they knew in their hearts that Pete was Spidey and that it was super-obvious, but they duped themselves for one reason or another.
Existence is a series of catastrophes through which everything barely but continually survives.

True, but it's more a reference to the actual main power-race of the comic itself, the Bengahli, or on the Ariannia side of things, the Thae'lith. The Mortician wrote:Pretty... And thus, in extension, Luke, Takahn, and Bengahl himself.
Even science fiction can have a mystical, almost fantasy air about it.
It doesn't haveta be all cold steel and organics, y'know.
