2005 Keenmas Tree - Finished! Look for thread above!

Post by Corgan_dane »

It's that time of year again, or at least it's time to start thinking about that time of year.

Like last year, I'll be doing a "Keenmas" (or "Genmas") Tree, covered with ornaments drawn by all of you!

Rules
1.) You can use any of the templates below to make your ornament. I ask that you use the templates and not make your own because that just makes my life way easier.

2.) Jpg, Gif, or Png are okay, but I would prefer one of the first two.

3.) Name the finished ornament file after your comic, or an abbreviation of your comic name. For example, my comic is Many Tidings Grim, so I would name my finished file "manytidingsgrim.gif" or "mtg.gif." This, too makes it easier for me.

4.) When you have your ornament done, you have two choices. You can pm it to me here on the forum, or email it to me at corgandane@sbcglobal.net. When you do so, also include: the name you want to be known by, the name of your comic, and the url of your comic.

EDIT: Also, put "Keenmas" somewhere in the subject of the pm or email.

Please do not post them in this thread. I would prefer they all be unveiled at once, when the tree is finished.

5.) Keep them rated "G" or "pg" please. If you want to draw something naughty, pm me, and I might ask you to do something special for the tree.

Edit: Basically, just keep them safe for work.

6.) Non-keenspace or comicgenesis comics are welcome to apply. There's more than enough room for everyone. If you have any nonkeen or gen webcomicking friends, mention this to them. The more ornaments we get, the better the tree will be, after all.

7.) Submissions will be accepted almost all the way up through Dec. 25th, but I'm posting this now to give you all a chance to jump on it, because naturally, the earlier I get the ornaments, the more time I have to get the site together and running pretty. (Hopefully prettier than last years.)
It's pretty easy stuff, really.

Here's my ornament from last year, as a sort of example.

Templates
This year you have several templates to choose from, instead of everyone using the round ones!

http://corgandane.com/tallovaltemplate.jpg
http://corgandane.com/wideovaltemplate.jpg
http://corgandane.com/diamondtemplate.jpg
http://corgandane.com/squaretemplate.jpg
http://corgandane.com/moontemplate.jpg
http://corgandane.com/startemplate.jpg

P.S. I'm going to try and get last year's back up so everyone can see it, too.

Also, just to mention: Under the tree will be presents, as those of you from last year might remember, with fanservice-ish christmas HAWT pictures inside them. I'll be needing some of those, too. Some of you, I'll be pming, and talking to in chat.

For these pictures, I just have two requests:

1.) Make them as Hawt as possible.

2.) Don't necessarily make them certain characters. It's more of a random fanservice thing. Just hot girls and guys, please, with some sort of connection to Christmas or the holiday season.

Thanks, and happy ornamenting. :D

EDIT #1: You are responsible for adding your own shine to the ornaments (see mine above). If you don't want one, then ignore this edit.

EDIT #2: The template size is the size the ornaments will stay, and the size I want them to be. There will be no resizing. <soup nazi> NO RESIZE FOR YOU! </soup nazi>

I might try to get in on this this year.

I'm in. Not sure what I'll do just yet, but definitely for an ornament and I think I have an idea for a cheesecakey present.

I am also willing to do a bit of hawtness. My credentials are in the Naked thread in Off Topic, if necessary.

Ooh, I have those too!

Also, I have a really good idea for a hawtness pic, but since there's a limited number of ways to make a picture Christmas-themed, is there any way to make sure that someone doesn't inadvertantly use the same idea as me?

I can't think of any way other than to post your idea here...and that might ruin the surprise...

It's up to you, though. :D
