You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it sink.

Oh, wait...yes you can.

The commerrcials don't really look that enticing, but I've learned that commercials tend to suck, so I'll be checking out this show.

how does one spin a bout...and more importantly, how do you keep the fighters from getting dizzy?

The fun really begins when they start vomiting!

You don't. That's the whole point.

Where do you think the term "punch drunk" came from?

I am not familiar with any of subjects that are talked about.

But I think there's too many comics in the world. When am I going to get to read them all?

Try being unemployed, does wonders for catching up on your comics.

You need not read all comics, you need only read mine.

I'd probably do all my comic reading @ work, but unfortunately all CG pictures are blocked by the server. So instead I spend my working days skulking around the forums.

To get back on topic, I like the Boondocks because it's political, in a rather absurd, going-to-extremes way (the arc where the US Government goes after psychics to enlist them on the War against Terror I find hilarious). I own the first book, and in there the guy says he was getting tired of the "beverly hillbillies-like" theme at the start of the comic and was reinvigorated by all the White House shenanigans after 9/11. I also like when they bash bad movies, and I've yet to disagree with any judgements so far.

I don't think it will work as a cartoon, tho.
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.

In comparison to the new shows that Adult Swim has begun carrying, Boondocks is genius. I think the animation is nice change of pace from their usual work. And as far as writing goes, my standards have now sunk to a new low thanks to 12oz Mouse. Hell, if that show is even allowed to be on the air, then a retarded kindergardener's gutteral noises can rival Fraiser as intellegent television.

It is getting pretty ridiculous how far they're letting the animation go for these new shows. That, and the fact that they aren't very funny. How 'bout getting closer to something like Venture Bros., people?
