Hum...not bad review wise.
Couple I agree with, a couple I can't, as I haven't read the material yet. But still, hey, pretty good job.
And ditto the review request.

How many times do I have to tell you Mayhem!? You're a half star short on all of them!
::Edited::
Understand I've always said that to him as a joke. I personally think that he does quite a good job of his reviews...though they could use an extra half star.

oh well =S unfortunately i can't really change anything in response because i'm very happy w/ how my comic is so if i have to make gigantic changes to turn it into a good comic then i wouldn't have a reason to do it anymore. if it was more like a 3 star then i could make some adjustments but to say my comic's total crap then i can either end it or ignore the review and i enjoy making it too much to end it.
edit: going over it again i noticed some stuff i strongly disagreed with that i have to talk about.

This is completely untrue. Freedom Fries heavily deviates from this type of story almost to an obnoxious level. First of all, there's never a real problem to start a scenario, which is one of the key aspects of the style. The motivations of the characters are always completely absurd and usually have no basis for their actions. Secondly, there is no hero in the comic. The main character is obviously evil, he's a total asshole to his best friend and he kidnaps and kills people for fun. The closest thing in the comic to a hero is Orangenius who blows up buses and buildings because he hates stupid people. Lastly, no one ever goes home happy. Usually Skippy does something stupid or mean and feels good about it. That or the comic ends very awkwardly or Skippy getting upset over something dumb. Anyway, your statement is basically a complete opposite of what FF is.The writing can be compared pretty closely to any basic childhood story. Problem, hero's resolution, and everyone goes home happy.
But in the case of Freedom Fries, the ideology of the comic is stuffed down your throat. Entertainment value simply starts going down dramatically when the artist just uses his or her comic for a platform for their beliefs. FF has heavy themes of racism and whatnot that can very well turns off many people from the comic completely. Perhaps it

Well, a look from the outside, "Freedom Fries" has reoccuring racist jokes delivered almost in schedule. LC seems to deny that those are racist jokes but if you have a white characters pushing around two heavily caricatured black characters, using a lot of racist derogatory terms, that's that, regardless of intention. I didn't see real racism as an opinion of the author in it, I had a sort of feeling that FF is a comic blocked in childhood where it's still not aware that racism is something bad. Which is not a defence, really, I'm not saying that there is no problem or a lesser problem, I'm just disagreeing about the nature of the problem.
But that's the stuff about dealing with themes of racism. Those themes can really upset people and that's one of the reasons why they should be approached carefully (which is not what LC is doing). Perhaps Team was upset more than I was, and as I said elsewhere, when you're intentionally making an offensive comic, you don't get surprised that you've offended someone.

May people slap me about with a bat for saying it, but I think Freedom Fries is a work of freaking genius, and I've loved every comic so far. I love the writing & the timing is spectacular. I've never laughed so loud at a comic, nor have I checked a comic so often for updates. I think what you're doing is brilliant and you should keep on doing it. But that's just my 2cs.
