CG vs DD, the battle rages on!

This is where past, great threads in the history of our forum go.

Mercury Hat wrote:Previous thread is here (how could you miss it?) and the DD thread is here. Somehow we've gotten to around 80 pages on this forum, and close to 30 on the DD forum. When will it end?! Since large threads are intimidating to newcomers, this one has been started to encourage new posters to jump on in. Don't be scared, it's loads of fun!

I'll take this time to do a recap off the top of my head!
  • War's at the DD frontlines, TLH has made a surprise appearance.
  • Feathers are all over the place.
  • MONKEY FIGHT.
  • Steve has slept with too many ducks to be legally considered a mammal.
  • Some giant missile's been launched in the DD thread.
  • Pretty boys and pretty girls are running all around the battlefield.
  • Numerous extras have been maimed/killed/eaten.
  • Bob has been captured and nobody seems to care! He is infatuated with his captor, Cookie and appears to have developed Stockholm Syndrome.
  • McDuffies is currently shacking it up with Jeegoo from the DD army, yet still finds time in his busy schedule to steal and vandalize panties.
  • Cookie and Mercury Hat (meeee) have teamed up to stop McDuffies's reign of perversion!
  • The word on everybody's mind is "dopplegangers"! Could we really be fighting an alternate-reality Comic Genesis? Stunning parallels have already been drawn between several CGen and DD forum members. Parallels so stunning I don't remember what they are!
  • Love shows up even on the battlefield! There's already a blossoming romance between Black Sparrow and Almighty Pyro. Will there be more surprises of the heart? Why does this sound like an anime plot? Keep reading and find out!
If anyone else has any other recaps to add, feel free, but let's see some new material posted :D. Don't repost old comics, please. If you need to refer back, link to the comic's post (if you don't know, you can click the icon next to the date stamp on a post to get the direct link to that post (yes, some people don't know about that <_<)).

Remember: More comics, less spam. GD is a PG-ish forum so no inline graphic depictions of nudity, gore, etc.

Keep it fun!
I could use another update/summary.

Using a gun is simple. Point, pull trigger, repeat as necessary.
Using one with any sort of efficiency and personal safety recquires some training, as does taking care of the gun to make sure it can be used again once it is needed.

Assuming the elf had someone else to clean it, slap a mag in it and chamber a round, and was given basic instructions of how to work the safety and that once the trigger is pulled bad things happen to people standing in front of the small, round, blunt end, it would be childs play...

Then again, this is the comic genesis army. About the only instructions given to the troops is "Drunk Duck may, or may not, be the enemy. Engage at will."
Så länge skutan kan gå, så länge hjärtat kan slå, så länge solen den glittrar på böljorna blå...

Ah, flamethrowers... Is there any problem they can't solve?

Are those scratchmarks?! Did the catgirl leave a SCAR?!

Grrr.... I may not know how to use a gun, but my CROSSBOW'S going to shed some blood!

Oh, and, Czar? Your post made my head explode. Twice.

And Vorticus, sorry I haven't put a page up yet. I'll try to have it ready tonight.

That's probably not a good threat to use here. Some of the things they tend to do should probably not be repeated. Especially tenfold.

But you do know how to work a spray bottle... (which is, we've been lead to believe, very similar to use in principle)

I'm an elf and I could probably use a gun.

Wait, I'm not a real elf.

I'm a dragon.

If Cgen needs reinforcments, people may feel free to use me if they like. I don't have time and/or I'm not fast enough to do anything myself.

Far be it from me to question, but isn't Lego Galactus nominally (as in "The enemy of our enemy"*) on our side?
Why would Leko want to fight it, aside from the obvious "why not" and the "large scale destruction will follow".

Also: Seconded.

Leko is to keep her hand and plasma cannon off of Legostars EVA, for the good of all.

(*=disregarding the statement "the enemy of my enemy is my enemys enemy, no more no less".)
I wouldn't want to fight it. I'd want to steal it. Duh.

You know, like how I've stolen most of the rest of my quipment in this war from Lego.

Think about it though, fighting one giant theoretical robot with a giant cyborg robot thing! Would you really pass up that chance, 'cause you know, you can't steal them both at the same time...
Someday, someday I'll finish Confabulation. That day is not today, however.
