Only problem there is that some people can't afford that, or couldn't keep it up.

What i hate most about this is its a lot easier to type in "keenspace.com" at the end rather than "comicgenesis" or even "comicgen" keenspace is easy to type, and easy to remeber! and i read that they changed the name because of the confusion with "keenSPACE" and "keenSPOT" its not THAT hard to remeber the difference between the two and now its creating work and problems for me because they were having problems. stupid stupid.

Through GoDaddy, you can buy a domain name for $8.95 a year.

This has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Please create a new topic instead of posting in a random thread.

You'll find many answers in the Gear. If you don't understand something, please ask. The more precise your question, the better the answers will be.

Okay, what if I have AOL and I can't log in because my browser sucks? Is there any way I can get around that without using a different browser?

I usually update my comic with the auto-update feature because I can't login.

I could maybe use the browser at a library or something to login and change, otherwise, would one of you guys change it for me? PM me if you'd be willing.

Thanks.

Stick a stake through the heart of AOL and use Internet Explorer.

Incidentally, how long will the redirecting for keenspace continue to function? I've actually noticed that if I access my website with http://swiftbow.comicgenesis.com it redirects to http://swiftbow.keenspace.com. (I also haven't changed any of the code references yet)

You don't know how much I'd love to do just that, but sadly, I'm not in control of such decisions.

Does anyone know where the Edit URL option is in the NEW siteadmin? Or have a link to the old one?

I feel your pain. We used to have AOL (I think we disposed of it around 3 or 4.0).

But anyway... you should still be able to access Internet Explorer once AOL has connected to the internet.

Um, I'm currently in a different state than the computer that my files and FTP are on and probably will be for a while. What do I do?

If you can, just download an FTP client or use the Web FTP to get to your account, download the files onto the computer which you're currently using, and make the changes on that computer instead of your usual one.

You don't understand. I don't have access to a computer that I'm allowed to download on, just public computers at a public library.

I'm sorry, this is lame but...

I can't find this "edit url" link in my site admin. The only options I see are "Upload comics" "Upload newsbox" "Comic Data" Comic Stats"

The edit URL option was in the old siteadmin, but in case you haven't noticed, your comic has automatically been switched over to .comicgenesis . I'm fairly certain that the edit URL feature will be brought over to the new siteadmin at some point, though.
