Tomboy = the total fucking opposite of a girl girl. It's a kinda like a woman's woman. if there is such a thing.

Yeah, there's that to consider too. Most of the women I know who consider themselves tomboyish are really anything but. I think that often the idea of being tomboyish has more appeal for them than actually living/dressing that way.

LOL!

Just back from the ceremony. I forgot to change shoes so I wore flip flops under my skirt. Oooops.

I'll be a t-shirts if only I did have a professional image to uphold. Part of the job. Teachers got look good all the time...sighs. I'll be wearing a cool aqua bohemian top and some brown pinstrip slacks with flats to the reception. It's at a posh location downtown. I CAN'T wear heels. I've never ever have master that torture thank goodness!

Let's see some of my tomboy qualifications:
1) Redneck
2) Loves GI Joe. Thinks Barbie is a evil twig with boobs.
3) Collected baseball cards and Matchbox cars
4) Throughly enjoys getting dirty and sometimes makes a point to
5) Was part of an amatuar drag racing team's pit crew :)

I hope not, but it could be. These days it seems like the women in dresses are the ones who stand out. It's a tyranny of bluejeans out there!

You want me to walk on my tippy toes with only a what looks like a straw to support my weight? WTF! :o

I swear these things were invented by men to torture us. No sane woman would have invented them. Same goes for panty hose.

But that's what they invented those three quarter length ones for... so that you don't have to be all uncomfortable. Because the full length ones are evil. yes.

Yeah, maybe it needs some skill to walk on heels... Nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable.

I'm a tomboy, but when my brother was getting married a couple of months ago, I decided that I wouldn't ruin it and be the only female in a suit (yes, even though he offered me that choice), my brothers wedding was more important even though . . . evil dress . . . <shudder>
I forgot about the photographs, too...

Hi-heels seem so inconvenient for someone who does martial arts, how the heck are you supposed to kick people and keep your balance at the same time? .. Not that I'm violent or anything... I'm an ... umm... a pacifist! Y-yeah...

No, I like 'em too, actually.

I usually wear jeans, but I like dressing up when I can.

And...
I love jewelry!

Jewelry's cool. I just keep forgetting to put it on. :D Rings can bother me sometimes, though.

You don't have to walk on ties and neither will you be in danger of breaking an ankle if part of your tie snaps off.

But yeah, men and women both have ridiculous things we're told to wear in the name of fashion.

Yeah, I never understood why in order to look good, you have to do unnatural things to your body.

At least you won't get strangled or get your neck caught in a paper press because of heels.
