Snake eating a rat (view at own risk!!!)

Post by Psychoticdesires »

Yes, another thread about my snake. This one is about it eating pinkies so its different. This is the first time I have ever watched a snake eat and it was a very amazing experience so I thought I should share it with you all.

It looks like a fetus of something.

Like, pig fetus.

It DOES look like a pig fetus. But trust me, its wayy cooler when the thing starts to eat real live mouse I saw it once, and it was friggin cool. I loved it... and wondered if the mouse had a family.
You know, i should work on this.

The problem with that is that the mice will fight back, sometimes harming the snake.

It's not exactly a fetus, but pinkies are newborn rats/mice.

I think?

My 11th grade physics teacher raised rats, and he had a demonstration day on 'em. Left the copperhead at home, though. ;}

It does look like a ratcicle. Or a fetus. Or a very realistic vanilla gummy rat.

I guess that's better than cutting off a mouse's feet and breaking out it's teeth before feeding it to a snake. Until this post, I thought that's how it was done, because someone I knew did it that way.

Yeah, it probably did, but the mouse's parents would've eaten it if they had the chance. So it all works out in the end.

Only if the mother's feeling stressed. They don't eat their babies otherwise.
