Blue Skunk

Post by Christwriter »

What if you were allowed to meet yourself in twenty years? Would you like who you became?

What if you were allowed to meet yourself from twenty years ago? Would you like who you used to be?

What if you were given one last chance to make it right? Would you risk everything you had to take it?

Blue Skunk is the ongoing graphic novel following a woman who has begun to ask herself these very questions. Follow her adventures as she has to face, not only the events around the re-emergance of the supernatural in her world, but the parts of herself she's spent her entire life trying to avoid.

Current Chapter: Lucy's killed many people in the line of duty...but this is the first man who didn't stay dead. She caught him trying to kill Sarah Brighton, and now she and Miranda Colbalt are on the chase. Lucy wants to find out who he REALLY is...because dead men don't walk.

Do they?

Sci-fi/Horror/Suspence, 100+ pages, updates Tuesdays and Thursdays. Contains moderate language, violence and some sexual content. Intended for mature readers.

I read through the prologue (which is labeled as chapter one in the archive dropdown, while chapter one is labeled chapter two, fyi). I'm working on chapter one.

One thing I -can- say, right off the bat is that it's really annoying to have to scroll past a ton of vote buttons and things to get to the navigation every single page.

I am working on fixing the vote button/nav thingy. Yours is the second complaint I've gotten.

Thank you very much ahead of time, though.

:D

New site design simi-completed (meaning I'm pretty sure it's done but I'll probably be picking bugs out of the code for a while yet) and added.

Fixed the vote-button problem, BTW.

You're now in my favourite's list. ^_^ Your new style was very rough around the edges at first, but you've improved so much since then. Keep it up.

i didn't really read much into it, but it looks like a comic i will read later on. I love your use of color, very very nice. You also have a very defined art style, which is allways a plus!

Your site kinda breaks at 800x600... I assume the sidebar with the voting links and the comic are supposed to be side-by-side, but it ends up giving me the sidebar first, and then the comic below that. It makes things... annoying.

The few comics I looked at blew me away art-wise. I'll definitely read it once I get back to school and can use a higher resolution.

It's really interesting to see how good you've become. I just came back to this site recently, but I remember looking over your stuff a long time ago. (It could have been as much as two years ago...) The cool thing is that your style never changed, even as you picked up skill. I mean, nobody else's comic that I've seen looks even remotely like yours.

Your art is definitely unique. Not really my cup of tea, but I'm still blown away by your coloring technique. And the writing is excellent. You have a definite grasp of characterization and good dialogue.

So, in short, BLUE SKUNK FOR TEH WIN.

AAAAAANNNNDDDD

*bump!*

As a lame attempt to justify bumping, we're entering the finale of pt 1 of Chapter 2 (big mouthful there)
