I once had a bit of a comic-data scare myself. I just looked at my computer and for absolutely no explicable reason, my folder of comic images was gone
just vanished, don't know why.
Fortunately while I didn't have fully current backups on CD I did have all the comics already uploaded, so I just took them off the ftp.
