Sluggy was my 1st as well. The 1st anthro comic I picked up was Jack about 2 years ago and I think the only non antro comic I read now is Dilbert (and even that has become stale)

Scott McCloud's Morning Improv, which I found on his site shortly after completing his 24 Hour Comics challenge. This is also what got me into doing my own webcomics, since I opted to set up a little site for my comic and send him a link instead of mailing him a photocopy.

Adventurers! was my first. I came across it while on the forum for the RPGMaking site for Lun Calsari's Crestfallen games; someone would post the latest strip in his signature each day. I found it hilarious and eventually went on to reading it on its own site.

Sluggy Freelance. One of the guys in my gaming group got me on it as a sophomore in high school. I read it for years, too. Eventually I stopped when I realized I hadn't laughed in a few months. But it was good for a very long time. Maybe my tastes just drifted away from it.

Impromanga. >>; I doubt not many people here knows this site. Gawd knows why I bother to read those. Squinting my eyes trying to make out what's going on in a really badly drawn comics by different artists. Not to mention it's super confusing too. <<

Hmm... I think I've been around for pretty much a long time already. Waaaaaayyyy before Keenspace even existed. Or RPG World, or 8 bit theatre, or Exploitation Now, etc.

Ah, I suppose that's what you get for being an immortal in a webcomics world.

I actually think mine was Unicorn Jelly, which I might've come across through a... My Little Pony fanpage. To my defense, I was about 13 at the time. Which probably isn't much a defense.

Same here. It was one of my first and when I first discovered it (think right around the bun bun Christmas Wars) I was hooked. The evil cat story was very good and after that the story arcs became too familar. I'll go back every once in awhile and check it out but it just hasn't hooked me. PVP and Penny Arcade were among my firsts as well. I found a lot of comics on the Big Panda list(which I greatly miss) and Keenspot.

Re: Sluggy, the current story (Oceans Unmoving) is some really awesome near-hard scifi. With sexy. And it's doing another Harry Potter spoof on intermission, and you can't go wrong with... well, it's funny, at least.

Another Harry Potter intermission? Man, I actually stopped reading them regulary when they did second Harry Potter intermission, I thought "Didn't they have better idea than to repeat a gimmick that they repeated a dozen times already, only with different characters". I mean, Buffy parody ruled, and after that, it was always repeating the smae formula.

Well, actually, that's not true, I stoped reading them at the time they had more filler weeks than regular weeks, but Torg Potter didn't help much either.
