I thought I'd have a go at doing this and it was the funnest thing EVER. You taught me soooo much. Also, shading. Ahhh, it was brilliant. Thanks a lot for the man-chest!Phalanx wrote:I must have had too much of Old Speckled Hen, because I was practicing my anatomy and thought what a splendid idea it would be if someone did a tutorial on that.
And I did.

Well, my world at least

Glad you found it useful. I'm surprised at how popular this topic was.
Also sorry but I haven't done skinny-chest yet, but I do have the Foot Study freshly up.

Feet are a pain to draw (although I have even more trouble with shoes myself), nice tutorial but seeing as you were bewailing the dearth of information on how to draw feet I figured I'd mention that books on anatomy aimed at people doing fashion illustration pay more attention to how to draw feet than books on anatomy intended for artists in general... also there is a book entitled 'how to draw feet' that I keep seeing on the shelf in my local bookstore and wishing I had enough spare cash to buy.
(I have lots of books on anatomy... however I think my anatomy drawing would improve rather faster if I actually read them).

I have a web comic called Tears of Eternity if you don't look you'll never know if you would have liked it.
