Corpse Bride- New Trailer

Post by Jen_Babcock »

I'm not sure if this was already posted, but you can find the newest trailer for the Corpse Bride here:

Looks good!

Note how they recycle music from Nightmare for this trailer.

It hasn't been posted but it's been around for a while. Here's a direct downloadable link for the "very hi-res" version...

Sawheeet! I've really been looking forwards to this one. Ten years is a long time to wait for something along the lines of Nightmare. :D

Tim Burton is finally getting back to clay-mation style stuff. Woooo!

This movie actually looks good. I'm gonna have to see it.

Ten years?
Uh... What about "James and the giant peach"? Same team, Burton and director Selznik...
And if you're really interested, Selznik made "Monkeybone" recently, a messy film but with a lot of animation and designs in the same style.

I love Monkeybone. It's just so random, and I love the idea behind it...

The Corpse Bride trailer was the best part of the movie when I went to see the Hitchhiker's Guide. :/
(Seriously... that movie made me sad.. Oh, Marvin cheered me up as he always does.. but otherwise I was so disappointed.)

I cannot wait until it comes out. I shall be at our local movie house in whichever theatre will get me the largest screen to enjoy this. ^.^
/squeals with anticipation.

Whoops! Heh, you're quite right. I'd completely forgotten about those. I actually didn't like James and the Giant Peach as much as I thought I would...and I didn't end up seeing Monkeybone.

Come to think of it, Tim Burton really must have a thing for Roald Dahl, what both Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach. Heh, they do have similar styles of creepy-fantastic.

Monkeybone wasn't that great. I liked it overall, but the movie hinged on the idea that Monkeybone the character (and cartoon, etc) was brilliant and funny, when it was anything but. It was okay, but I can see why it was a bomb.

As for this, woo! I didn't know about this one. I can't wait to see it either. Is this stop motion or CG, though?

Thank goodness. Tim Burton should stay away from making CG movies.
