When I was about 14 I went through a phase of wearing day-glo t-shirts at every available oportunity... I even wore shocking pink and flurescent green socks to school... often one of each... although that was in protest of the school uniform rules which mandated white socks in summer and grey or blue socks in winter for girls but had no rules about sock colours for boys...
