I hurt myself trying this

Post by Sortelli »

Attempt to do the following while sitting at your computer:

1) Lift your right foot and make clockwise circles in the air with it.

2) Now, at the same time, trace the number six in midair with your right hand.

Your foot will start turning the opposite way despite your best efforts. FREE WILL IS A LIE!!!

I sorta did it once without messing up, by going very slowly, and it felt like I was breaking the universe

This is one of those things that was designed to make you look like a fool at your desk at work. Like typing with your nose.

Eh, I can do it.

But then, I can rub my belly and pat my head at the same time, too.

Why not try this: Point your left index finger right and your right one left, so your index fingers are touching. Now try drawing circles with each one, in opposite directions.
That's harder.

Weird... guess it's just the flip side of not having to remember how to walk every time you do it...
Warning: this poster is addicted to ellipses...

I have a web comic called Tears of Eternity if you don't look you'll never know if you would have liked it.

I can pat my head and rub my belly and I can just about rub my head and pat my belly (not sure what that's harder) but no I can't do this whole rotate foot and draw out the number 6 thing.

I remember trying that back in primary school. My failure to complete the bizarre task has left me scarred to this very day.

My friend came up with something similar, try drawing a circle with one hand a square with the other at the same time. I couldn't get it. :(

And I don't bother to try any of it and laugh hysterically at the rest of you as you contort your limbs into highly amusing positions.

I think I win.

Yes, I just finished reading that, and cried that I missed it.

Though I have to say, going on the Incredible Hulk roller coaster four times was pretty worth it.

And as long as you draw me, hon, I don't care how silly I look. ^_^ *attention whore*
