Webcomic documentary film
Penny Arcade linked to this, while dubiously giving their jaded cynical view on it. I saw the trailer and had to say Amen! to the message of the film.

I got the same message.

I read Penny Arcade. As frequently as I might disagree with Gabe, I like his sense of humor. You don't have to sacrifice your opinions to get something out of someone else's. I mean, hell, Archie Bunker and Eric Cartman are two of the most popular characters in the history of television... and I hope no one agrees with them... ever.TheGoobla wrote:I'd comment on the Penny Arcade comments, but then I thought, like anyone reads Penny Arcade.

... Sarcasm? What? People can say one thing and mean the opposite?! My world is crumbling!!!! Damn it... ::sulks::.
(Matt Groening lived in Oregon, the real Springfield is one town over.) Oh, and the statue of Jebadiah Springfield's a riff on the UofO's Pioneer Father statue. And NOW you know, and knowing is half the battle. ::shuts up and gets some sleep finally::
Ah, touche` - - yeah, I live in Eugene, Or. It's Hippie Central... and Hobo central. We were even mentioned on Futurama once because of it.specterz wrote:Well.... I hate hippies too... :p

I love Penny-Arcade. It consistantly makes me laugh. Yeah, those rants are full of egos and icons, but the comic itself is golden. Unless it's about pee jokes. We'll not go there.
I'm a hippie too. I've been getting hated on for being a hippie. I think it's time for the hippies to FIGHT BACK!!!

Caught in the headlamp glare of your own blinding vanity/Mesmerised by the stare of your shallow personality
Gorging the junk food of flattery you drag your fat ego around/Everyone floored by the battering you give to whoever's around
Oh Narcissus you petulant child admiring yourself in the curve of my eyes/Oh Narcissus you angel beguiled unsated by self you do nothing but die
