Has Anyone Else's Archive's Disappeared?

Post by Ghastly »

What the heckety heck? It seems like everything in my archives from 2005 04 24 on back have disappeared.

Has that happened to anyone else?

I'm going to see if re-uploading the strips fixes it but that's still a pretty odd glitch, if it's happening on other accounts it might mean we're in for a massive hard drive crash.

A lot of people are having this problem. Look in the help forum, there's a couple of topics about it.

Mine disappeared, but I did the 'moving everything from public html to workspace' thing, and it fixed it.

I've been trying to replicate the problem with TLS, but it doesn't seem to be affecting my comic, which is a pain since I can't try and help solve the problem. :(

The problem is resolved. If your site is missing archives, just do a full update.

all the sites should be running a full update anyways, but it will take several hours for them all to go though.

No. I believe Kisai forced a full update on all sites (I think that's what she did, I'm not sure). If your archives are still messed up, go to siteadmin and trigger a full update, if the queue isn't huge. If it is, wait for it to go away/get significantly smaller first, because it might not have gotten around to you yet. The comics are still there. Autokeen needs to rebuild the html pages, that's all. : )

Edit: Checked the queue. Don't touch the update stuff right now. It's still working on full-updating everything.
