... er... care to rephrase that?

LOTS of people liked Keenspace. That's why there's such a riot about the name change.
Bleh. I've just noticed some people saying the name keenspace means nothing and that they never liked it. The riot seems more about the principle of changing it. I meant the name itself. Oh well, my brain doesn't work anymore anywway.

You change anything about something people are comfortable with and people are bound to get pissed off. For me it wasn't so much the fact of changing it, its just I really don't like the name they picked. I'm glad they are opened up to going with an alternative.

You're all very cute, but No. For perversion, I believe that Ghastly is the only person who might be able to compete with me.

No smiley, I'm not kidding.

Now, the top five posters on Keenspace *are* the friendliest and nicest perverts I've ever met. That's a much better thing to be. :)

I don't feel there is any evidence to support the idea that I'm a pervert.

...no matter how I look at it, "webcomic" seems synonymous to "sucky."

At least for toon, we could try to expand the definition of toon, while for webcomic....

we all know most webcomics will suck, and that only a few minority will rock. For as long as the internet remains cheap and accessible, this is never going to change.

Anyway, webcomicspace is a better choice than toonspace, in my opinion, but I don't want to feel like I'm going for the lesser of two evils here.

In the end, though, it doesn't completely matter. If I really don't like the name, I'll get a domain.

It's just a domain name. Crosby! Be a dictator! Keep it as Toonspace!

Yes, because like I said Keen really needs to get a reputation as an organization that bullies other artists out of their intellectual property rights (Toonspace is already being used as the name for another art project, the goal here is to change the name to AVOID brand confusion).

Grh, once again, I am not a pervert! I just haven't had a girl for a year or so now.

There, I said it.

The longer you stay here the more perverted you get. When I first joined the forums I was on a mission to save the baby seals of the world. Now, after 900 posts, I just bone 'em.

But... I don't care!

Honestly, I just don't want a longer name, cuz strangehappenings.keenspace.com is long enough. I r stoopid when it came to picking a title, I think.

*realizes doombees is a shorter name... by one letter... GOOD ENOUGH!*

I take it all back! Make it Doombees!!!

HA! I've never had one, and I've never tried!

Anyway, I don't know about this doombees. I like doombees, but not as a domain name. Oh well.

i disagree, i think the connotations a name like that has will hurt several of the comics here.

its one of the rules of advertising. a good catchy memorable name helps to sell your product. i think it applies here as much as anywhere
