Same heeeere. Except I picked music and drama...not art. I thought I was gonna be a band/choir director that directed plays (oh ho ho, Soap you moron)! I didn't care for art back then, and I'm paying for it noooooow. I could be farther along had I bothered to learn anything in high school.Pimpette wrote:Mine did that toograbmygoblin wrote:I'm going to say no, since I only took one required one in eighth grade. our district had this policy of PICK YOUR ONE GIFT AND THAT'S ALL YOU GET TO NURTURE!!! so in high school I opted for voice lessons over art.
From drama, art, and music, I picked art. But I wanted to do all three. Boo.
OMFG! an actual poll. (Art Classes)

we had that same deal in middleschool. Only it was choir band or Home economics(which I interpreted as sewing). So I picked band and stuck with it through highschool esentially wasting all that time. On the plus side if there's ever some reason the fate of the world depends on me playing a euphonium as part of an ensemble I'll be ready!l
I remember caring... It was nice.

That's cool! Things not to do in the morgue #23: Say "I see dead people."Alaina wrote:There's this art class for the human anatomy I wanna take next year--the teacher takes the students to see cadavers!
(And there's an anatomy class at SRJC which lets you dissect cadavers.)
This webcomic, seen here is hosted on the free web host Comic Genesis which pretty much proves its not popular.

I don't know that you should feel like you've missed anything. My state mandation portion of culture was art. In my 8th grade art class I remember learning the defintion of the word "Moocher".Soap Committee wrote:Same heeeere. Except I picked music and drama...not art. Seriously the teacher wrote it on a piece of cardboard or some similar brown sign making material and talked about it for a minute. I remember that and someone drew something with "limp Bizkit" written on it, which in retrospect was loads more influential than the entire rest of the class.

Bwa ha, I wanted to do high school, though. This soap would be in an early grave, I fear. But that's really cool that you pull it off.Dutch! wrote:Brass are the rulers of the known world, you realise that, don't you?
Soap, if I can be a band leader and direct plays, then you can too.
Okay, so my band consists of 8-12 year olds, and the play not much more, but it's a start, eh?
Well, I don't mean that I missed out on taking art classes. It's more like that I didn't care about art at ALL, so I didn't take any personal steps to improvement until last year. Before then I would just doodle in class and figured I didn't need to get any better.ekspiulo wrote:I don't know that you should feel like you've missed anything.
