Candi

Post by Starline »

This feels weird. I'm not used to just posting something and saying "Check it out." Cause normally, you'd be harassed for it.

Hmm. Well. Here it goes:

I kept staring at this forum in awe, "Wait. They what here? And... it's okay? Impossible."

BTW, there are a large number of other comic forums with pitching sections - none of which, I should point out, are nearly as active as good old Space but, you know, what the heck. Image

I have links if you need them but it'll have to wait a little while. I'm working off the wrong harddrive just now.

I've been reading Candi almost from the first day I moved my strip over to keenspace from my blog and it came up on the newsbox on my site.

Ya know, she really should have an opportunity to turn down my character....

I stumbled across your comic when I saw your banner in one of your posts and was really impressed. Your site design is very nice, your art is clean and professional and your writing is funny. I dig it. Keep up the good work.

I love it, the site looks great, the characters are drawn well, and believable to boot. I've bookmarked it, and I look forward to seeing more.

wow... i was getting ready to write a typical "nice art, too girly for me" but uh, i kept wanting to read more =O and more and more... I'm really surprised I like this, I'm usually instantly turned off by any comic dealing with relationships and girly stuff. So, yeah! Linked!

=p

The art is cute and clean, the story, though slightly non-linear and disjointed, is good, and the characters are well-defined and adorable. :) Though it took me a little while to get some of the characters straight, it all worked out in the end.

It's really nice!

Been reading Candi for quite some time now. It was the first keenspace comic I bookmarked, actually :)

I'd say you're doing a good job :)

I'll pretty much repeat what everyone's said: anime art an instant turnoff, and then yes, I read the whole thing. Great characters, especially Candi and Alex and their chillingly realistic relationship.

Well I certainly don't need to say anything; you already know I love the comic.

But for everyone else, read the comic. It's not your typical starring-college-students-at-college webcomic. This one has quality and three-dimensional characters. :D

I'm afraid I have no original comments to contribute. None besides "OMG ME LOVE".
