Actually, I'd expect your timely demise in approximately 106 days. At least that gives you time to prepare a defense. ;)

You may not have noticed it before, but I used past tense when talking about my giant pikachu stuffed toy.

That's right. It died lots. We have pictures.

That reminds me, we need a big stuffed animal to sacrifice to the god of good cookouts. Anyone want to donate one to the cause? It will get destroyed.

If not, I'll have to go win another. *sigh*

We could have chill do his sword trick on the stuffed animal, of course we'll have to put melons, fruits, or something messy inside of it first :D

It's too bad that I don't work at Six Flags - St. Louis anymore. Getting a large stuffed animal would have been easy, and I am currently out of large stuffed animals. But if you need any miniature anvils or outdated computers (Office Space comes to mind) . . . :-D

Your... mother... sells... fireworks...

:o

We need to talk.

I used three or four hundred pounds of my supply last year and no longer have enough fireworks to take over a small nation. Well, I could still take over France... but who couldn't?

Please come... and bring your mother. And her fireworks.

The Cookout website has been updated!

Added: The murder of spongebob Squarepants
Added: AlmightyPyro and his mom as a maybe.

We are up to 13-18 people definately coming, and 3-5 maybes. C'mon people, you've got months of notice, come and see us! :)

Almighty - the cookout is June 4th - the first weekend of June. It's the week you said you can go. And I'm serious about talking to your mother. If she has better prices than the stores here and a good assortment, I'll pick up $200-$300 worth of stuff from her.

That should augment my firepower nicely. Muahahah*cough**hack* sorry... my evil side got the best of me for a moment there.

I now have explosives rated high enough to handle a watermelon at the cookout. This however, has led to a problem:

The explosion would be big, loud, and dangerous.

Although I have a field it would be safe to let it off in, the fact is, it's in city limits, and that means trouble.

I could find a field outside the incorporated limits (where it would not be illegal), but that would require carpooling, possibly 20 or more miles.

Lastly, and importantly, we've got a lot of people showing up. Many of them are showing up because they got permission from their parents to do so. I don't want to get anyone in trouble with their parents, or give any parents any reason to be concerned. And frankly, while I'm confident of my pyrotechnics skills, I can offer up no reason that others who haven't seen me carefully prepare and let off one of my displays before should be.

So there will be no exploding watermelon this year.

sad, sad news.

Looks like my mom wasn't as avid as I had thouhgt. I re-said something to her and her only responce was, "Get a job" as she smirked and walked off. :( :( :(

Oh well. I would say that there's always next year, but I might be going on a trip to Ireland or somewhere like that for the summer.

I'll just cry now.
