If you kill him, another will step up to take his place.

And then another.

And another.

And another.

And another.

And then that's pretty much it. We've won.

This is why you kill GARFIELD. That way, they don't have anything to draw, and thus no replacements are needed.

Apparently, he collaborates to bang out the rough ideas, and the actual cartooning is then delegated to hired artists. I understand his primary responsibilities at PAWS incorporated lie elsewhere...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he has a team of artists that draws it now. He's sort of a figure head I think.
Yup.

This is why I specified killing his lackeys as well. Get them all in one swift and deadly attack, possibly with sarin pumped into their office, and we can save ourselves a lot of time.

Then all we have to worry about are all the Garfield /Odie slash writers. Death is too good for them.

Garfield goes to kick Odie off the table but misses and slips and falls into the box he was later going to put Nermal in and mail him(?) to Abu Dhabi. He himself ends up getting mailed to Abu Dhabi, tries to eat the sultan's Lasagna, and has his paws cut off. He then passes out from lack of blood, slips into a coma and dies.

Oh, all of this happens on a Monday, too.

Not one of mine obviously, but I thought it would be relevant.

EDIT: No hotlinking other comics, even dead ones.
NJ is also Orion's fiance of sexy passion with the love of a thousand sea monkeys

Heh, thanks, Neko. I'll put it on site if you don't mind, I am working on sorting out the gallery these days.
I think the way Garfield dies should include eating. The most plausable answer is dying from heart-attack, with John and Oddy watching him helplessly squiggle and gloating, without intention to help him or call the medics.
But should that proove too tacky, he should be given enormous amounts of food. As we know, he just can't stop eating as long as there's food around, and every living mortal creature has a point where it's just eaten too much and dies.

They're retractable. Didn't you know that?
I was just thinking the fur is like clothing, sorta like long john underwear. At least that's what they did in Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry.
That's correct, PAL.

Actually, all this reminds me of MP sketch with radio drama:

Radio: And now, a radio drama: "The death of Mary, queen of Scotland".
*drama begins*
Male voice: Are you Mary, the queen of Scotland?
Female voice: Yes?
*crackling voices*
*thumbling*
*woman groaning*
*gunshots*
*more woman screaming*
*those noises continue*
*that goes on for some time*

Announcer: That was first part of the radio drama "The death of Mary, queen of Scotland".

*pause*

Announcer: And now, thesecond part of radio drama "The death of Mary, queen of Scotland".
*noises of killing, thumbling, shooting and groaning queen continue for some time*

Male voice: I think she's dead.
Female voice: No, I'm not.

*noises continue and go on for some time*

...

Classic
