Notice that I took Alex and Ilia off the list and replaced it with Horrendous Acts. Pin never came back to post before the end of January.
page 1 wrote: Introduction - What is this all about?

The following pages contain original works and sample art submitted by a number of different amateur comic artists from around the world. These comics are published online for entertainment, artistic self-improvement or plain boredom. Whatever the case, these comics are free of charge.

The idea behind this sampler is to point people to some of the great, less well known comics on the web.

Unlike the huge, well-known webcomics like Megatokyo, Penny Arcade and Player Vrs. Player, most webcomic artists and writers cannot make a living with their comics. There are, in fact, hundreds of thousands of webcomics online and the audiences available for each comic are small. This sampler is an effort to get the word out about a few of the less well known comics and to show off the quality and diversity that is online comics.

Originally, this sampler had another purpose but we aren't allowed to mention it here. The mind control rays didn't work anyway.

So, please give our comics a look. We know and can't expect you to like all of them but, who knows, you might find something you didn't expect.

Just in case you were expecting that all to be cut & pasted, you forgot to list yourself in the list of contributors, faub. Just, you know, FYI, not to point out problems, or... shutting up now...

just another little FYI that isn't all that important. Although my comic is spelled Burgundy, my name is actually spelled Burgandy. I know it's confusing, and like I said, not too important, just thought you'd like to know.

That kept confusing me too. I kept thinking that you misspelled your own name and then warned people when they do the same.

I don't want to think how badly I butchered McDuffies' name. I fixed the rest, though. Anything else I missed?

When you also count the more obscure ones hosted on places like Geocities, I would say at least a hundred K.

McDuffies by Srdjan Achimovich
Nothing wrong with my name, I see. That is, the closest transcription with the usual set of letters.

Cortland has nearly completed the minicomic PDF and was wondering what to do with it. I've offered my dyndns site (I have others as well). War has offered his. I suggest we mirror this to as many sites as possible and distribute the load as much as we can.

Any takers?

cortland was downloading the last pages tonight. Once he says it's ready I'll post a link and we can start downloading.

So far, me, cortland, hartchamber and at least one other person (I forget who now) have volunteered to be the initial mirrors. The more people willing to host the file, the better.
