This is the version StephenHG made for you.

I took that and fixed the text. Zoom in and compare the two. You'll want to fix the characters up a bit too. Just zoom in, fix the lines and update the image.

Here's a link to mine. I hope GIF is okay. Let me know if I need to change anything.

Put up a big notice when this thing is done. I know about half of the independent book dealers in Calgary, new and used markets, and have friends who work for the other half; I can get a couple of copies into most of the indy stores in this city. I also know the owner and staff of the biggest comic shop in Calgary, and I know they're happy to carry small press or local material as long as you present it in a reasonable manner. You wouldn't believe some of the loons I've seen trying to push their wares onto the shelves. Manners, people, Manners and hygiene.
So that's my offer to promote Keenspace. The rest of you, get off your butts and start thinking about where you can distribute this thing when it's done. Remember, the more new readers you bring in, the more merchandise you can sell. And if you sell lots of posters and plushies, you can buy lots of meth! Uh, food. I meant food. Lots of...

I am really excited about this; the actual distribution is probably not going to be huge but I think we might be able to hook some people who might otherwise not look into reading a webcomic. Anything we can do to expand the bounds of webcomic readers is good as webcomicry is sort of an insular thing in a lot of ways.

I know the owner of a local comicbook shop here in Jackassville, I'll be sure to make a bunch of copies to distrubute there.
Oh yeah, for Faub and SHG, thanks for helping me out with my comic, you people are too cool!

Plus I think it should gain us some additional respect on web; If we can pull something Keenspot does, but better (not filled with super-old comics of exploatation now => better), that means we have some energy and organization other communities don't have.Stephen Henderson-Grady wrote:I am really excited about this; the actual distribution is probably not going to be huge but I think we might be able to hook some people who might otherwise not look into reading a webcomic. Is that "Suncoast comics" shop on 103rd street and Blanding? Or is it downtown?supernerdcore wrote:I know the owner of a local comicbook shop here in Jackassville, I'll be sure to make a bunch of copies to distrubute there.

here it is. suggestion hand some out free at your local comic shop on free comic book day this year- may 7th, i think. ps. i think faubs' "innards" place the best between interspersing multipagers between ads. as for the cover, i like bears attack with either faubs or soaps covers for the back cover. faub has more info. but soaps is so cute.

desolation angel tango-it's the end of the world and the beginning of a new one.
Trying not to scream too much in absolute happiness over how cool this is, here's mine:
