Condolences? That sounds ominous.
Is there something I don't know that I should be worried about?

ok, so now we have seating assignments at tables.
What are we supposed to do again? ^^;
I kinda lost it....
that guy with the bender avatar wrote:Once paired up, here's how I think it should go down. Each artist should be able to look through their partner's cast page or archives and pick whatever characters they would like to include, whether it's just one or all of them. They can then draw them socializing at a fancy dinner/dance in the situation of their choice. It can be chatting at the table, it can be dancing, it can be in line at the bar. Hell it can be in the bathroom if you want. And of course the other artist will do the same thing. It will not be holiday related, more like a big fancy Keenspace staff party. We could call it "Scenes from a Ball" or something.
this still valid then?

Perhaps it'd be best to leave what we're doing fairly open-ended. Just open up a convermasation with your daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate *cough* and lay out what you guys wanna do. It IS a cooperative type-dealie after all. Funny, romantic, mushy, Seasons-Greetings-y, you name it. You're at a party! Go Nuts! That said, just keep in mind...

- It's a KeenSpace staff party-esque type dealie (where our characters are employees of KeenSpace Inc. I like that idea. :D )
- We're in a big timeless ball room, so robots, furries, elves and everything in between will all comingle in peace and drunkeness without feeling out of place.
- There's a big red button in the center of the dance floor that says "Push Me". It is not to be pushed UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Other than that, have fun, everybody!

I get Darken? *chuckles* Oooooh, this will be interesting; a good fantasy party dating an evil fantasy party... and both can be described in d20 terms :)

What are our deadlines? Where do we send the artwork? Will it be posted on a website or a forum?

I think we should shoot for mid-December for a deadline. Somewhere around the 15-20th. I guess you can send your pics to me, since I opened my big fat mouth, and I will try to put together some sort of site for it. Something similar to the way the haunted house was set up I suspect.

Oh what the heck... if another late arrival turns up, I'm game. If not, my characters will just have to stand outside the ballroom with their noses pressed up against the windows...

I'm guessing that took you about 2 minutes. :(

I'm working through yours right now, gonna need some caffeine. I'm glad to see Satan in the cast, since God will be appearing in mine soon.

You can go stag! No one is excluded for not having a date, I'd assume.

Oh, Loser Hero, if everything works out, which part did you want to do? I think I can let you know whether or not I can do it by Thanksgiving weekend.

You guys are missing out! Even if you can't be here for the latter half of december, you can draw something up before then.
