:D Yup, sure did.

Actually, I did the whole thing yesterday... only took me about six hours, start to finish. I was rather encouraged by that.

Not to get off topic, but what printer are you guys planning on going through.

I just ordered a book of my own stuff from http://www.lulu.com and it looks like they just printed the pages off their laserjet at home. Big white splotches in the middle of black pages. Kinda crappy.

Just a word of warning.

This was intended to be a roll your own thing. The idea is to distribute the expense of printing between the people who do the distribution. So, you print 20 copies at whatever printer you prefer. I print 20 copies on a different printer. Etc. The nice part is that you don't have to pay anything at all to submit pages to it because there's no huge initial printing fee. For those of us who are poor, this is cool AND I can print it on a home laser printer if I want where the expense of printing is negligable (at least visibly. Often home printing is MORE expensive than getting the book professionally printed.)

It'll be in PDF format. File -> Print from Acrobat Reader usually works. The most you'll need to do is flip the pages over to print on the backs. I know for a fact that acrobat reader allows you to print odd and even pages.

The nice thing about PDF is that it's a printer format. The size of the output is predefined so the program doing the printing doesn't need to guess-timate. On expensive printers (those that print postscript natively) you can actually send a PDF unchanged to the printer and it prints perfectly. (If you get a chance, try "cat file.pdf > /dev/lp0" in linux. It's fun.)

So far I have variously formatted PDFs for my comic and have printed them successfully on a home laserjet printer without any difficulties.

I'd like to give it a shot, if I may. Mind you, this is a rough draft.

Does it have to be an actual strip?

While that's a totally freakin cool page, it is pushing nudity restriction quite heftily. It's an issue that would have to come up when we vote on which pages to include and in what order (although my submission is pushing the bounds just a bit too, just not as obvious 8) )

Right! It appears in my Red Bull-induced stupor, I forgot their clothing. I'll be sure to properly attire them in the final draft. My apologies as well as my thanks for the compliments. :D

Girls still wear the poodle skirts, yes?
