need help with filezilla
need help with filezilla
i'm not totally computer illiterate, but i'm new at useing FTPs. i have filezilla, but i can't figure out how to open indextemplate.html ! i'm so ashamed..
.what should i do?

You should download your indextemplate to your HD, and then open it. Prefferably in notepad or other simple text editor.
Or possibly a wysiwyg HTML editor, but these things usually suck produce junk code, and then you spend more time fixing the mess they made than you would just making the html yourself.
And never use Word.

thanks...i think it's working!
i searched my computer for it (having downloaded it several times and not knowing how to open it) and found it. it seems that i turned it into an internet page or something. it was in the C drive. wierd...
i copied it from the page and saved it in my documents in notepad. do you think i'll be able to edit it from there now? i'm going to try...

Actually, it _is_ an "internet page".
Just open it (in Internet Explorer), and then select view->page source, and it should open it in the notepad. A bonus is that if you edit it, and then press refresh in IE you'll see the changes.
