he only charges $5 if you want to get listed in 48 hours. i signed up a few months ago and i like the service because it actually tells when somebody actually updates. (thank you keenspace for the automated rss) i did it mostly as a service as my readers. as i can sometimes can be sporadic. i have noticed people using it. another service that can use the keenspace rss feed is http://www.comicalert.com. the comicalert is set up more for a person that has a rss reader. i think most people currently are more comfortable with a webpage that updates with a link. though i think as this idea of rss feeds gets out more into the consciousness of the web, more people have rss readers. I've been happy with both places, though i think the webcomiclist is more of an indyfriendly place. Just update and bam you're on the front page. And i've noticed that comixpedia gets a feed of the 10 most recently updated comics from them that comixpedia posts at the bottom of their webpage. i've gotten hits from that. the webcomiclist is a good deal

Yeah, I now remember I noticed the $5 charge a good while ago. Maybe.

the web comics list is a great service if you have a big list of webcomics you want to keep track of. i use it every day - means i don't have to think about remembering schedules or to keep checking back when there's been a break etc. so when 8:1 came back i knew right away. you can suggest other comics too btw (i requested several keenspace comics to get added to the list)
Magellan ... super hero cadets - their worst enemy is themselves!
Loxie and Zoot ... cos nudists have adventures too y'know!

The List was charging for everything when I posted. I guess we convinced the guy to, well, at least to see if there aren't any other options. I got a few details about how it's done and I have to confess - the guy has a point. He had a backlog of 350 and there's very few people who'd be able to help him, since it's skilled programmer-type work. And it's not like it'd ever let up.

Shhh, you'll upset Phalanx!

Actually, that's different. The Jaded is still free to a degree. The thing is that you needed to read all the previous updates to get it.
No need to mince your words, Pin. :( I can take it. But at least you did remind me to harass T into getting those Free Samples up.

Besides, soon enough it won't be just me in this forum...

Personally, I always found it amusing that The Webcomic List rated The Jaded as 'mature'. It was particularly funny back in the days when the only other two comics on the list that were listed as 'mature' were Ghastly's Ghastly Comic and Sexy Losers...

Actually, it's on me, I was poking you even though I knew that you didn't sleep for nights over this. I'm evil.

It's the thong bikini everyone in Brasil wears that has kept you posting so regular, hasn't it?
Lies! I've never seen girls using thongs around here. At least not one of those obscene thongs anyway. You people have no shame!
But according to the commercials for some sort of Brazilian themed beer they show back home, "Skin is considered a layer of clothing" in Brazil.

Are you saying that TV is lying again?

I don't get many hits from there, but I do get a few.
Yeah, but the waiting a couple weeks can get annoying... I'm only on week two of the 2-4 weeks stated.... ::sigh::

Ironically, this is one of the lists I actually joined up with early on.

HNTRAC front page wrote:McDuffies (a.k.a. Srdjan Achimovich) comments and does most of the promoting work for HNTRAC. He also runs other comic projects such as Comic Writer X, Keenspace Lobotomy and another soon-to-come comic that he'll kill me for mentioning here. ;)
Baka ne! You gave it away! Fewer people would have made the connection otherwise!

If you hadn't mentioned it in that other post, that is ;)
