Ouch, and I thought I had a high amount
Then again, looking at my top 3 referrers...

1 - 208307 - 93.07% whitehydra.keenspace.com
2 - 11585 - 5.18% - (Direct Request)
3 - 782 - 0.35% http://whitehydra.keenspace.com

Over 98% of all traffic to White Hydra is directed intentionally at it. :|
Then again, I know jack shit about Keenspace's traffic systems.

Something like 380 sources.

Also, here are the cruddy remainders of my stats. I think I scare a lot of people away with my nonsensical abusive women.

April - 2.97
May - 3.93
June - 4.11
Yay. | Yay Part II.

I love these threads. Adding to your post count requires no insightful thought whatsoever. ;)

April - 3.79
May - 3.41
June - 3.14
July (so far) - 3.19

I have 85 referrers so far this month; usually, I have somewhere around 100-120.

but it does require a calculator!

684 referrers so far for l&z, it was 638 last month.

#2 is direct requests which is neat! a lot come from various pages in and around loxieandzoot.com, then it's onlinecomics.net.

the top keenspace referrer is night & day via the romance comic - thanks isahn! :D then deity permit (thanx soap!), rogues of clwyd-rhan (well, not really keenspace anymore) and zeera. i also get a few hits via various forums including this one... and search engines.

one of magellans highest referrers is loxie & zoot (no surprise i guess 8) ) - and since i have deity permit and night & day in my magellan links i'd better get them into l&z too! sorry soap and isahn!
Magellan ... super hero cadets - their worst enemy is themselves!
Loxie and Zoot ... cos nudists have adventures too y'know!

142 referrers so far this month, while last month it was 173.

My top five are:

1 4925 85.06% teoandsara.keenspace.com
2 803 13.87% - (Direct Request)
3 16 0.28% http://guide.keenspace.com/newshack.php
4 15 0.26% http://teoandsara.keenspace.com
5 12 0.21% viewtopic.php

So actually I'm getting more hits from the Newsbox, which makes it mandatory I make Kisai some artwork, and finally people have stopped clicking at my sig so much. Or maybe that's a bad thing?
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.

Aww, you don't have to link me just because I linked you! I always feel bad when people expect me to link them back after linking me. I wouldn't want anyone to feel obligated to linking me.

...Er...But, y'know? I think the RIGHT thing to say would be "Thank you very much!" So I'll shut my yap.

Well it's good to see you guys are all becoming quite successful if that's the way you measure it. At the moment my monthly quota of referrals is only 32, but the second one is direct request, which sounds like it's pretty good. I've been more interested to see the search strings used to link to our cartoon.

We've had searches for 'school spirit comic', 'casper the comic strip', 'smudged inc' with and without capitals, 'chimp hands' of all things, and perhaps the wierdest of all, 'school bus silhouette'.

Anyway, I'm just satisfied that this month I've already managed to eclipse last month's (my first month) total unique site count by a few. Fine, it's only in the high sixties at the moment, but it's more than last month.

Means there must be a handful of people out there coming back to read fairly regularly! Seems it's found a little niche of its own at the moment anyway...I'm just gonna say it's a sleeper hit!

Not bad for little advertisement though.

Umm, I am new so the figures on that stats page totally baffle me. These are the first three referrals for July (I didn't plug my comic yet so word of mouth, i.e. direct hits, accounts for most of my hits so far):

# - Hits - % - Referrer
1 25304 88.19 thenoob.keenspace.com
2 2058 7.17 (direct request)
3 500 1.74 http://thenoob.keenspace.com

OK, please let me understand the difference. How are 1 and 3 different?
What is (direct request), in what way is it different from the comic's url?

mhhh 431 referrers so far this month ...

and my top referrers are
1 80104 69.80% isahn.keenspace.com
2 6825 5.95% - (Direct Request)
3 5410 4.71% http://thejaded.keenspace.com/
4 4214 3.67% http://hellsing.keenspace.com/
5 3262 2.84% http://www.queenofwands.net/

:)
but most of the hits flock in via HRC and the dropdown - so folks JOIN DROPDOWNS *g* they make sense ! escpecially for smaller comics to bevome known.

How many panels do I need before I can join a dropdown? I have only 15 so far (including the one that will appear tomorrow). Should I wait until I have 30 or so?

This depends on the dropdown owners rules, Bekka. In the KeenHeroines dropdown owned by me you need a total of 20 story related pages - no fillers, no non-story art. :) Just look in the dropdowns forum for the dropdowns you may want to join and read the rules of those.

I used to link indiscriminately, because I thought it was the nice thing to do. But once people find out that you're a pushover, they walk all over you...

Oh, yes, my top referrers so far this month:

1 15942 86.28% feyenne.keenspace.com
2 1672 9.05% - (Direct Request)
3 345 1.87% http://feyenne.keenspace.com
4 103 0.56% http://groups.msn.com/TheUimateRolePlay ... links.msnw
5 99 0.54% http://guide.keenspace.com/newshack.php
6 25 0.14% http://charmingeclipse.xepher.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php
7 20 0.11% http://alexandilia.keenspace.com/links.html
8 14 0.08% http://directory.google.com/Top/Arts/Co ... ga/Online/
9 13 0.07% http://www.thewebcomiclist.com/mycomics.php

Memo to that Roleplaying Group - STOP STEALING MY FREAKING BANNER, DAMN YOU! As much as I appreciate the hits, can you not use Photobucket or something?!

Oh, yeah, and see that linkage from The Charming Eclipse Forums? Plug!

Pages/visits so far this year:

July so far: 5.844
June: 5.459
May: 6.192
April: 5.570
March: 4.753
Februrary: 5.526
January: 5.559

Not sure I see any trend there, apart from "it goes up and down." :)

As for referrers: 68 so far this month. I've only broken 100 once (in May)... assuming we're talking about the number that actually appear on the referrers list, not the "total unique referrers" number!

hmmmm
pages/visits

Feb 3.20
Mar 6.09
Apr 2.04
May 2.06
Jun 2.35
July 2.41

I did advertising in Mar, so I assume that's the cause for the jump in stats there.
