I dunno, that sounds a lot like Vagina.
I have used Netscape a few times. Each time a loading screen comes up and starts L O A D I N G. . .T H I N G S. It's like, Jesus Christ, you're not a drawing application, hurry the expletive up.

Oh I know how slow it can be sometimes, Netscape and Photoshop probably have daily marathons to see which one can get a fit out of me by loading the slowest, sometimes Corel Paint 8 likes to join the fray too. I love my 6 year old computer, really.
I also tend to like to squish words together because I'm wierd like that so, VaginaPie.

Here, here
The hijacker has basically installed into your computer and turns your homepage into the "about:blank" home page right? You can use this to get rid of it.Chaos Cricket wrote:It's not anything major, just a couple of annoyances. First, IE keeps deciding to just create a new folder entitled "Links" in my Favorites folder at random. And by "at random" I mean basically every time I open up the Favorites folder. Also, when I try to load some websites, I get this "PerfectNav" thing. It's like something's hijacked the browser and redirects it to that page. Eventually I can get into the page I wanted to actually go to, but it's a pain in the ass. I've run Ad Aware and Norton Anti-Virus, and came up with nothing related to that stuff (though I was able to clear out a lot of spyware on my machine...ugh). It still does the PerfectNav thing and I keep getting those damn Links folders (I deleted 30 of them last night in the space of about 2 hours). I'm hoping a different browser wouldn't give me these problems, though that may be a vain hope.

However, every time you visit a keenspace site the hijacker will reinstall itself. So browse whatever you want then close down all the windows and run the shredder again when you're done. If you use mozilla a lot of the keen sites won't work. I know because people can't go to my site. That's all.

Mozilla is somewhat of a spin-off of Netscape. However, it is a different animal under the hood....
Netscape has always been "Mozilla". But now so is Internet Explorer and many other browsers whether they share any relation or not. The browsers labelled "Mozilla", however, use an engine called "Gecko." It was a total rewrite of the Netscape code that was getting really ugly at the time they decided to make it.
But now Netscape is a thing of the past.
...when the moon hits your eye like a big piece of pie... ouch!

Is cleaning up after your past self dishonest or just prudent?
I'm not sure, but I'm doing it in hopes it's the latter. [Signature deleted.]
