Like...it was such a small thing, but Lady Sunset Autumn Honey Purity Sunflower Rainbow proudly proclaimed "I"M IN TEH RAFTERS!" or something several months back, and I laughed more at that than the punch line.
The worst part is. . . I used to do that.
So did I actually...

I sometimes RP on MUSHes. While I haven't ever RPed being in the rafters or anything like that seriously, I have sometimes done similar stuff during ridiculous pseudo-RPs that occur in OOC lounges and on public channels for no apparent reason other than to be insane and silly.

. . . So yeah. I can relate.
Is that so?

The "cool" people hang out in the rafters of the chatroom taverns. Like the vampires and the goths and the goth vampires. Or anyone who wants to show off their superhuman ability to leap twenty feet in the air to get to the rafters. Then they leer down at all the not-in-the-rafters people.

phactorri- Is that another universal chatroom thing? Scary. I thought the plushie thing was local to the Ethereal Realms chatrooms. Last time I was there everyone had a freaking list of plushies they got from everyone else. "Oh, I got a BigGayVegeta plushie and a Buffy Somers17 plushie and a Shattered Crybaby Goth Dreams plushie!" "Yeah, well, I got a STFUman plushie and you don't so he likes me better than you!"

I've never RPed in a chat room, but I've found that I get a good bit out of EOI just relating to my experiences playing traditional RPGs. We even get the occaisional "HANGIGN FROM TEH RAFTORS!!1" kind of player from time to time. :P
I laughed at this review:

"Reasoned Cognition may be a little low-end on the art side, but only because it isn't altogether too fancy, not because it's so ugly it's like a fiery poker in your eye...."

I quoted Jim from Roll of the Die because it's from a review he did of my comic on his link page. :P

Crossfire: "Thank you! That explains it very nicely, and in a language that someone other than a physicist can understand..."

No, I lie. The comic, being only a few months old, has not yet had time to glean enough readers to merit any reviews. Even bad ones.

I'm happy to say that for a little while in the KS chatroom I was indeed "in teh rafters"

Heh . . . I'd forgotten that I'd written that, so I was wondering for a moment what it had to do with what I had said in the quote.

But, yah, I try to make all the descriptions I give in my links page somewhat amusing. ;)

I just remembered: At slightlyShizofrenic, they thought my comic was drawn by mouse. I guess that could count as silly.

Incidentally, this confused me:
???
Nice, they provided big link to me, but what's writen below, hardly has anything to do with me. And why did they link my news archive? Totally confusing (grateful, though)

What was really funny about this review is that this was my next update.
And then he started shopping for Emo...

and I guess the funniest review I've gotten would be the link Waterguy has for me:
waterguy wrote:ORBVS! I love the writing on this one. The guy who writes it goes to Stanford.
...yeah, I don't get too many reviews...
